1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Is the 962 a similar kinda car to the 787b ?
    Didn’t even know the 787 was an old car until earlier but I do like it.
    Can’t believe I’m saying that but I think the gt40 has changed my opinion on old time cars Hugo
    As long as they are fast ones though
    Is nords the long track ?

    Depending on the version of 962 you drive,but they are both similar.the mazda might be trickier to driver imo,but the 962 has a turbo that can kick a bit unexpectadly if you are not used to it.i love oldtimers,much more than modern car :p all vintage cars from assetto corsa are great,the most difficult to handle is the porsche 917/30 and the 917k aswell.try the porsche 718,so fun and easy,inspite of its slowness :D

    I've stopped doing the WHC's but I still read the threads. I've been dying to ask this question somewhere about the older cars. At least with me, a lot of these older cars like the 962 long tail, the Sauber C9 and even some newer cars will lock their brakes on one side or the other and usually it's the right side because it will jerk to the right under fairly light pressure. How do you handle these cars want to jerk to one side upon braking?

    I could not improve my time anymore :mad:. Now we're going to our holiday destination somewhere close to Omaha Beach, Normandy. I hope/expect we have internet in our cottage so I can follow the next WHC. My wife disagreed to take my Playseat and T300 with me so I have to follow the next WHC from the side line. Enjoy!!

    First you have to attend WHC"s again before I answer your question :p Just kidding right. I'm in holiday mode.

    Yesterday I did some hotlapping with the C9 around Monza 66 course. Normal braking and I did not feel the car try to move to left or right? Or I did not pay enough attention to it? It was the opposite for me. Full throttle in first and second gear and the car ends sideways anywhere but on the track.

    Edit: aaah I remember --> I turned back the brake power from 100% to I think 90%. Maybe that's the reason for the different feeling?

    Some days ago i saw a race on youtube, viperconcept made the vid, they used the fiat 500 at highlands short. awesome race!!!:p
    slow cars can be fun :)

    indeed: the little fiat was not participating in the whc.

    i would love the 65PS challenge (but plz NOT on nords ^^ - or we need 4 weeks...:p:D)

    I've not posted a time for weeks, but enjoying the challenges when I get the chance.
    Well up for the old cars - a couple of suggestions:
    - Lotus 25 at Zandvoort is a treat -
    - old Ferrari 312t at nurbs - Lauda-style (but agree with the earlier comments re Escort and Porsche 718 there too!)

    I also can't beat my time:( So I tried the Porsche 962 C short tail on the Green Hell. What a car this is...crazy fast beast...love it. Give it two rounds today and managed a 6:42.xxx. It's hard to imaginine to reach a 6:11.xxx. This Guy Stefan Bellof was not only the Lord of the Ring...he was a Legend. Found a Video of a Guy on AC who managed 6:11.xxx.

    You need to drive the Nordschleife a lot to memorize all the corners:) As I know it has 73 curves which is pretty hard to save in my brain.;) But when you drive it over and over again, maybe watch some onboard footages with the Name of the curves, that Helps you to memorize all those corners. And of course go in real life on this Track when you have the Possibility. I'm from Switzerland for me that's no big Deal but for others who came from USA or something it's quite a long way
