1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

im not really a good driver  so,to keep them on the road without going to the gravel,i know that i cant push too much of them,so i drive them very gently and slowly,so i dont have a lot of locking issues.the sauber c9 locks a lot more though, that is true!i guess that the best way is avoid that is to do some early and hard braking, and then release the brakes as you are approaching the appex.also i change to brake bias to the rear.that is what i do and i dont get many locks, but of course im something like 5-10seconds slower than the aliens :D:D

Ok thanks for the tip. I didn't know if adjusting brake pressure helped or it was a bias thing like Hugo thought.

It's not as bad as you think. Once you do a few laps and you get the overall feel and flow of it, you know exactly where you are and what's coming up pretty quickly.

Had to reply to this.I love Switzerland too,i lived in Thalwil when i was very young. This is where my love of snow, mountains and chocolate comes from, lol.I can still smell the chocolate in the air when we used to drive past the Lindt factory. The mountain passes etc are just awsome.

Just back from my vacations in Switzerland. I can only agree I still love this place. So peacefull in the mountains... With just some screaming from a Lotus sometimes :D

For Nordschleife, yep. Only practice will lead you to know it by heart. Then for the best lines, watch some pro drivers real footage or even better, get a real coaching in real there if you have the opportunity ;)

I'll second that.My father was known as the professor in Porsche Club De Haute-Savoi.When they went to the Nordschleife his friends would sit in the passenger seat to get the best lines, then they would drive behind him etc.I guess i had the best coach, probably why i learnt the track quickly ;)
Sounds like you had some great fun in the mountains,i really miss those blasts through the mountains :(

No I think I’m done now. Hopefully top 10.
I’m still losing half a sec somewhere on the last 3 corners.
I’m Getting to the 2nd delta at 1:15.4xx but still can’t improve.
I’m At the stage where I’m trying to hard now which doesn’t help

I suggest you change your username to SWW. Swiss Willy Wonka. hahaha :) And yes it's one of the best areas to visit. So breath taking to ride with a group of motorcycles around the Zürichsee.

    Sunday, day 7...

Before anything else,i would just like to say thank you to @Graveltrap for trusting me with the WHL while he was away! These weeks have been very funny;coming up with combos, thinking about that fun and wacky combination people might enjoy, and seeing all those messagens of people having a blast with it is really rewarding. So,of course,a massive THANK YOU to all of those brave simmers that took the time to participate in the challenges.WHL is great because of this spectacular environment of friendly and fun people,it's always a great mood here and it's awsome, and it's all because of you! So, i'll just give back the reins to GravelTrap, but before that...congratulations to @eclipsee for setting the fastest lap of the week! Here's the results:
