1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Would be good if we can keep the content we already have in AC and just transfer that to ACC...

Hmm not likely, as it's another game... but if they obtained a multi license, perhaps we can hope.
I personally would hope for the tracks and the GT cars like the Corvette C7.R for example :) bringing them to new life using the UE4

  5. The official website is showing the Emil Frey Jaguar aswell....

    EDIT:
I see it now, you meant the Blancpain official website, yes yes I've seen it!
I thought you meant ACC website, with a new screenshot...

There will be several entries that aren't full-season, the Emil Frey Jaguar will be one of them from all we know so far.

If ACC will have the cars/teams/drivers of these entries, no idea.

    @Epistolarius
Yeah. I was thinking about ACC webiste, perhaps a new screeshot of the car.

Considering this picture on the Blancpain car list:

I suppose it's official and therefore Kunos have to include the car in the sim.

Hopefully Kunos guys will confirm the car list at some point.

So, no manual gear box cars anymore in this game ?
That's sad if you want my opinion :(
Or I'm just too old ;)

Do you expect cars with manual transmissions to appear in a modern F1 game too?

    That's the point, isn't it ?
AC was not a modern car only game, which this new version is.
Players who like manual gear boxes will have to stay on AC or if they want a 2018+ game will have to go elsewhere.
    As I said, I think it's sad.

Depends how you look at it. ACC is very focused, that’s not sad at all, it’s briliant and necessary. What’s wrong with AC? It’s not going anywhere, why would someone feel like they have to go elsewhere? There isn’t anyone else making a sim with manual cars to be released within the next few years I don’t believe so AC will be it and there’s nothing wrong with that. It has a huge collection of awesome cars of all types that has been built up over a fair frew years, and that’s before you get to the mods. Have close to 1000 hours and I still haven’t driven some cars... lol

Oh, interesting. Looks like there's a few entries for the Group N class of the Spa 24 this year. I don't expect these to be implemented for ACC but... two of them are in AC and it'd just be neat to see them.

I really hope they will be added to the game. A Porsche Cup league in ACC is just too awesome to not happen :D
Marco said several times that they want to include absolutely all cars from all races which includes Group N in my eyes.

Could see it as an add on/paid DLC of sorts, not part of the initial release though. One thing at a time... :)

They also talked about a 30 car limit. Something has to give :)

That was about grid size, cars that can be in a session at the same time.

The limits for implementing cars to drive in ACC will be time, budget and access to data. More content increases the appeal of the sim so if they get the opportunity Kunos would probably want to implement them.

The Gallardo is already in progress. As for national cup, we have to wait and see what the actual entries are going to be. Last year it was a couple of Porsches and a Super Trofeo, if it's the same this year, then I don't see a problem having them as we already have that content for AC. Anyway, it's early, so don't take my words as final on the matter.
