1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Interesting that AMS is going to implement the realism like NKPro (set of tyres, realtime damage repair, realtime tow...)

    I think that some of these stuffs are very valuable for the immersion and the overall race atmosphere while others are too much!

    For example realtime damage repair and tow are pointless. It is just waste of time and add nothing to the experience.

    Time will tell if the outcomes are the same as for NKPro.
    Except obviously night and rain that need to be in any sim racing nowadays :D

    But I couldn't find it yesterday.

    AMS has some flaws(too) but AI and sounds are wonderful as well as the whole graphical colourful sceneries imho.

    AC can be a bit bland graphically and in terms of immersion stuff etc though the cars in AC are so well detailed and have the real manufacturer's names. But physically I don't know. AMS is pretty well how I feel a car should behave on/over limits. AC too. Don't get me wrong.

    Great list of fixes and enhancements and I look forward to trying them.

    The Reiza guys are like a team of workhorses; providing reliable and consistent progress while being responsive to the players. This title is shaping up to be one of the great "sleeper" Sim's IMO. I think it may be one of the most cohesive and consistent packages available today. Sure, it doesn't have all of the most popular content and MP but, that's also one of it's best attributes because it offers something so different in a well rounded package - especially for offline use. :)

    I have just tried Formula Trucks and Dirt Cars on gravel. Amazing !!!

    I'm blown away by both, especially the loose surface simulation, for me it feels very believable much more depth than Dirt Rally lol, perhaps better than RBR. Are there any point to point stages ? I also really like the textures of Automobilista, really nice dirt track presentation. Impressed a lot. They could make a rally sim haha, watch out, GRally.

    There were plans originally to include a rally stage and something akin to the Audi S1 Rally car, but they excluded it for AMS. Maybe in the next title :)

    Sadly there isn't (to my knowledge) even any proper gravel mod tracks, circuit or other. And very few in AMS indeed. Huge shame, because I think the gravel stuff is great. Love drifting the Mitsu Lancer EVO around the few tracks AMS has. Can be almost continuously sideways through a lap, great fun. Too bad AI isn't nearly as good driver on gravel as on tarmac, maybe AI struggling with it is the reason why there isn't more tracks

    They are going to announce/add a "well know brand" before the end of AMS development, finger crossed for some rally group B car and track... but even brazilian mercedes cup will be good for me...
