XB1 Button mapping and TC issue

Button mapping menu doesn't save MGU-H at any button and in P1 and 918 Spider TC still can't be changed even when MGU-K Recovery have been assigned to other button. Thank you and have a good day everyone.

 

Can you map a button to "look back/right/left?

 

Just to add, TC and ABS does not work in any of the cars I have tried so far

 

Yeah, I have look back mapped and it works so I guess left and right are fine aswell.

 

I tried ABS with 918 Spider and it worked for me. I use Thrustmaster TX on Xbox.

 

Posted this in another thread but hope that the devs see this hence why I'm putting it in hear also. ( This is all on Xbox by the way not sure about ps4)
-MGU Mode Preset disappears once assigned and there for does not work when I tried to use it ( Ferrari SF15-T)
- Cannot adjust TC and ABS on Porsche 918, Mclaren P1 and Ferrari FXXK
- Cannot adjust TC on both Porsche 919 2015 and 2016 ( Don't think they have ABS anyway)
-Cannot adjust TC on both the Toyota TS040 and Audi R18 ( As with the Porsche's no ABS INRL)
-Mclaren P1 GTR TC and ABS doesn't work
All other cars I have tried so far are fine including the Laferrari, which is the only Hybrid car with TC and ABS that i can adjust, obviously the problem is to do with cars that have MGU delivery and recovery as well as TC and ABS, the Laferrari been the only hybrid with out those MGU functions

 

When you say it worked for you mate do you mean you could turn it on or off on the fly? Because I have tried several times with the cars I mentioned above but no joy

 

As much as I appreciate the hard work Kunos has put into implementing custom button mapping, I can't help but think adding keyboard support should have been added !
With so many cars having numerous settings and adjustments for on-the-fly driver aids, and being limited to the number of buttons on wheels (or controllers) the new system seems to be falling over itself and not working as intended.
Having the ability to map essential options for driving such as look left / right / behind, DRS etc on the wheel and lesser used stuff like ABS, MGU settings, brake bias etc on a keyboard would be a logical step ! When project CARS started using keyboard support it made the game a lot more enjoyable to play, you have the buttons you need to use easily at hand, and the things you rarely need to use (horn for example) there when you need them.

 

Can't remember if I posted this anywhere on here but I created a ticket about a month and a half ago now for the MGU mode preset, TC and ABS problems on the Xbox, they said the team are working on a fix and now and the ticket is closed so I'm hoping this will be sorted in the next update fingers crossed
