Generic Change appearance of lobbies where you cant enter (on going races) from those you can (qualifying)

I like that now we can see those lobbies where the race has begun. That way, we can wait for those races to finish and then enter in those lobbies if you are interested (or just to have some information of the real number of people playing).

But I would like to make different the appearance of on going races from the lobbies which are in qualifying. Maybe differentiating on going races with a darker color or with a symbol. Now, because the two type of lobbies have the same appearance, you have to patiently select all the lobbies to know which ones are in qualifying. This could be a solution:



That way you can see easily those lobbies where you can possibly enter (because there are some lobbies that are in qualifying but are full) and differentiante from those lobbies where you cant enter at all (on going races).

yep that bugs me, click on first 5 lobbies only to find race has started, 6th lobby hasn't started but that's because it's drift. Not sure if its worth the effort from Kunos with private lobbies around the corner though?

 

IMO people will still playing in public lobbies (maybe more people) with the release of private lobbies. Also, dont think this is a difficult feature to add

 

The red box under information tells you what session the lobby is in. In your pic for example, the lobby is in qualifying with 14 minutes left.

 

Yep. I know. But you have to check every lobby to know which ones are in qualifying and which ones dont. Is a bit annoying

 

I thought you meant that you were entering the lobbies to see if you could join. I agree being able tell at a glance which lobbies you can join would be nice, along with a lap count of a race in progress.

 

It's a lot annoying to me. I'm very old and so I particularly resent needlessly wasting time and breath clicking through them all to find one that actually works and usually it will be that one waaaay down the list with only two people in it anyway.

An extremely tedious step in totally the wrong direction for me I'm afraid. If I can't join it, why show it?. Easily the most stupid, pointless and annoying thing in the game for me now. The occasionally iffy AI driving or the even iffier "talent" on show in many of the public lobbies has not irritated me nearly so much as this recently added little gem has. Anything that saves me from uselessly clicking on stuff just to find out if I can join will work just fine for me though.

 

It's not really a problem on Xbox, you will be lucky if there is more than 6 lobbies in use. I must say though last night was some quality racing going on in the only full lobby there was.
