1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    For my first impression, of the game, that I bought today, it was "community is a ...." why? Every single server i got in, almost all of the players(or ALL) were crashing on purpose, i was clean driving, with Same skills as them but to overtake they just pushed me outside the track, they threw they car into me.Refunding. :( I was dreaming all days about this game and had wish to have it, i thought it was one of the bests, or even the best game i would ever play. But I was wrong. (PC)

    Minorating is the answer. It's not perfect and it won't turn idiots into clean drivers, but it can greatly improve your MP experience.

    OK some short overview.
    It's free, you don't have to download/install anything. It rates every driver based on his contacts per kilometer, your pace nor finishing place is irrelevant. There are 5 grade types, but you can read about it in the links that are at the bottom of this post. What matters to you is that you are most likely graded as N (unless you already entered server using MR), which is a temporary grade until you drive more than 40km (IIRC) on any MR server. The ultimate goal for you should be to get the AB rating and search for the servers allowing AB drivers only. The downside is that you won't find multiple AB servers being well populated.

    Second option is SRS, it's quite different. You can't just run it on your server like MR, races and cars/tracks are scheduled by SRS admins and are hosted on their servers. It's also free but you have to install it and register on their site with your full name. You get points dependent on your final position in the race, contacts are also being taken into account.

    If you have already decided on a refund, then you haven't given yourself anywhere near enough time to identify the good servers, and (more importantly) which ones need to be avoided at all costs. Are you interested in race cars, road cars, or a mix of both?

    Even if you arent new to sim racing it takes more than an hour to get a feel for the physics in a game. Going online into a race that soon makes me wonder how safe you were in the cars to begin with.

    OMFG what an I...T. Going straight online with an experience of less than an hour and talk about skill. Facepalm. Facepalm. Facepalm.
    And then come here to bash the AC community. WTF.
    To be honest: For an experienced driver its most dangerous to race with the "skill" of the "one hour kiddis skill".
    Maybe its good for the AC community that you get your refund. So we will never meet you online.
    So thank you :confused:

    @Michael Hornbuckle: Are you really sure to recommend him iRacing? Really sure? Better way to go for such "skill kiddies" will be games like Forza Horizon rather than any kind of simulations

    This thread has meme value. It should get bigger than balloons thread. In balloons thread there at least were a little bit of logic.

    I'd make a full length movie about this.

    Guy has been dreaming about AC ALL DAYS, but when he finally got it EVERYBODY was pushing him offtrack and crashing, so he had no other choice, but to REFUND. It is supposed to be a drama, and bring some tears :(

    What can you say to that ? If it was posted as a comment in AC page of facebook, then it would definitely has been answered very politely by AC public relations specialist, or unanswered at all.

    It would be something like: "We are sorry to hear that our game didn't meet your expectations, we will think about your feedback and do best we can to improve it."

    Just for him to get back to what he dreamed for all days, to spin out with C9 or F40, and then refund because it is too challenging for him.
