PS4 CSL Elite Racing Wheel - officially licensed for PS4

Although it is included in the latest update 1/14. It is not possible, in any of the 3 available joystick configurations, to use the keys, round, square, cross, triangle. So it is impossible to modify the traction control or the degree of the ABS.

 

EDIT: Small precision that has no doubt its importance, in the menus, the 4 keys in question work perfectly. The problem is only when you are with the car on the track. In the car setup menu, there is no problem

 

You have the new wheel already? Damn! Have you updated the latest firmware?

 

Naturally, this is the first thing to do before even turning it on for the first time. I have it since Friday morning.

Oh, this doesn't sound good at all.. Hopefully will be fixed really soon. Will be receiving my wheel later this week.

 

same issue here, I got mine yesterday and just tested. flashed the wheel with latest firmware and in PS4 menu it's working fine, in Asetto Corsa menu it's working fine, but as @Darera already described the buttons don't work in the car on track really odd as I always change TC and ABS settings before hot lapping.
Kudos should include a preset for the new CSL Elite Wheel as well, as it is now officially supported an mentioned in the last patch notes. I am now using the G29 preset (as I had a G29 before)...maybe that causes the trouble

 

Having the same issues. So there is currently no way to change TC and ABS wherever.
Some controls like brake balance and lights on/off do work on track.

 

To be as clear as possible, and that Kunos sees the problem well to remedy it. I think it is better to speak in terms of keys, which does not work, rather than in terms of function, which change according to one of the three chosen flying configuration.

To summarize, I would say : square, triangle and round, does not work that one is on the track.

 

I think the buttons do work, but some have no task assigned to it.
For example with Wheel Preset 1, the Directional Stick moved right (would be TC) does nothing, but with Preset 2 it does (its unfortunately not TC).

Looks that they are just not mapped right at the moment.

 

So maybe we just need a Fanatec CSL Elite preset like the G29 preset or free button mapping and button box support to make this work. I haven't checked other preset except the G29 one as I am still owning it before moving to the CSL yesterday.

 

Easiest fix would be to implement it as shown in the Wheel presets.
I'm sure kudos has already a huge todo-list

But sure that would be nice! Switching the TC with the Directional Stick is suboptimal...

 

I got the new Fanatec PS4 steering wheel yesterday and have the same problem, it's impossible to adjust the ABS, TC and Turbo no matter what button configuration I use, so it makes it impossible to drive cars with adjustable turbo at maximum power because it Is not possible to adjust it in setup, only on the fly

And if I plug my Thrustmaster TH8 shifter into PS4, my steering wheel stops working, in the game and I have to restart the game to make it work again, it does not help to disconnect TH8, the game must be restarted with TH8 disconnected, I tried this With a dirt rally and there, it works great, Fanatec steering wheel and Thrustmaster TH8 shifter
So I suppose the license to Thrustmaster is stronger than Fanatec at Kunos .. ha ha

Rather than thinking, you'd better be sure. How do you want kunos to understand and solve the problem, if not clearly stated and defined? Obviously before I expose the problem, I verified that the buttons were well assigned in the choice of mapping pre defined. A problem a solution and many other things can not be resolved with "I think", as long as one thinks is that one does not know.

 

The directional stick moved right does work with one Preset but not with another so it can be nailed down to the mapping.

 

This is normal since you change the configuration of the keys.
Stop polishing this thread unnecessarily. In the "bug" section of the forum, we want concrete reflection to move forward concretely. At most it will be clear to Kunos at the most you will have chances that they can identify and then rectify the problem. I received it last week too, for me no problem, but i haden't mentionned that yes we can't set turbo and TC.
In my case, my clubsport shifter works only in sequential mode.

 

No problem for me with the clubsport schifter, it works perfectly in both mode, sequential and mode H. Have you well configured, in the menu option of the game, taking into account the box in H?

 

I've tried with use H grid Off and On and was the same.
Last night I tried to boot the wheel in H type and it was Ok. I've changed to seq during a party and it was ok too but i haven't try to back to H again.
