1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Or one of the roller coaster simulators. I don't get even a hint of nausea anymore in other games but 10 seconds into a roller coaster ride and I'm ready to yak all over my keyboard. :confused:

    Still loving my VR setup don’t think I could go back to racing on a monitor now.

    Just a question though...
    I’m fairly low spec ..
    if I have most things on low I can stay at 90 FPS about 80% of the time.
    But it looks a bit poor I’m increasing the setting so it stays in the 45 FPS rift lockdown.

    Should I have my in game frame rate locked to 45-50 also so that I’m not rendering frames that I’m not using ?

    VR is a keeper... just finished 3rd in the KTM SRS race with only 1 incident :D normally around 10th with a few more incidents
    tried the Richard Burns Rally VR Mod last night .. it's crazy how good this game works in VR considering how long ago it was released.
    Was tempted to pick up Dirt Rally as it is only 8 quid on steam at the moment but might just end up just playing RBR in VR instead.

    There was a definite performance increase for MR headsets after the Windows 10 April Update. I tried my Lenovo Explorer on my really old gaming desktop (ancient i5-2400 non-overclocked + new GTX 1060 6G) and using the experimental motion reprojection mode (instructions here) I was able to race on most tracks without any issue (medium-ish graphics settings). Quite impressive, I'd say. The only minor drawback is some graphic artifacts, I noticed them below the left mirror on the Cobra.

    I noticed my AC was all pixelly so i checked my video settings and it was set at 4k res and no hz set, for my 4k tv, so i change it to 1080p at 60 hz and the image is good again, i thought the rift ignores the resolution setting?
