1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Moving from Xbox to PC

    Having decided to bite the bullet and do the right thing I bought Assetto Corsa from Steam

    I first played this on an Xbox and liked it however I wanted more options and the ability to use modded cars. tracks and apps which you cant do on the Xbox.

    I admin that I did a wrong thing and downloaded a unlicensed version of the game to give me an idea how it would run on my pc and then bought it.

    In fact there are two of use that have migrated from the Xbox to the PC and we both feel disappointing and a tad ripped off.

    Having bought the Xbox One version and then the DLC all season pass I felt I had the best of the cars and tracks.

    To my amazement when I ran the PC Version for the first time I was shocked to see that the std Xbox Tracks and Cars were now an option on the PC version! I appreciate that there are always add on's hence when I had the XBox I bought the All Seasons add on. But come on, for me to get the same tracs and cars that I had on the Xbox will require the purchasing of a lot of add on packs.

    Why the disparity between the Xbox and the PC version?

    I starting to feel that doing the right thing may have been a mistake

    That sounds like you're just frustrated for not having done proper research prior to buying. You had the content on the XBox because you bought the DLC. And now you bought the base game on PC - without DLC. So you get the base content.

    Or am I missing something?!?

    I'm sorry, but the Steam page has plenty of information about content and DLC packs. Being ripped off implies you got less than advertised, which is not true. If you're nevertheless disappointed about the content, I'm sorry about that.
    In the last two months there were discounts with over 60% on the base game and all content, maybe watch out for that if you think the price is too high for your budget.

    Also no need for two threads about the same thing, locked.
