1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Need good settings for X-Box 360 controller setup

    I am having a difficult time steering, it seems overly sensitive no matter what settings I use. Could someone please help me out with the settings so that I can play this with a controller. I have a wheel already, but sometimes I don't feel like getting it out and connecting it, and would just rather play casually with a controller.

    Do you play with controller as custom wheel or as X360 pad?

    Default is fine, with small adjustment on the deadzone so it stay centered when you're not moving the stick.

    Attached is an old xB360 profile I used. It worked well for me and I could manage some fastish times - around the 2:20 @ spa in the GT2/3 by memory. For me one of the 1st things I needed was the attitude/speed of the virtual wheel to be believable and my inputs to be somewhat subtle around the centre. I don't like full lock left/right inputs to only achieve small turns. I treat the controller the same way i do a wheel. Full lock is for hairpins or very quick counter steering. I then upgraded to xB1-elite controller which required a new profile (i can give you that if you want) which I was quicker again due to its longer trigger lengths & adjustable stick lengths which then took my times down to high 218's. AC has a great feel for controllers however what i struggled with is races above 15 laps has my left hand would cramp up. Luckily now i've moved on to a CSW v2 which has seen my times & consistency improve as times have fallen to 216-217.5's..

    by memory i also preferred this to be set in the assetto_corsa.ini

    USE_LEGACY_CODE=1

    good luck

    Even though the GP handling is fine in general, the speed sensitivity range is insufficient. This means even at 100 % a whole lot of cars need to be driven with only ~60 % thumbstick travel, which is very straining and frustrating. Stefano has said he won't change this, unfortunately :-(

    I adjust the speed sensitivity to the cars I drive. You can't run too high values in lmp1 cars for example.
    I will post you my settings when Im at home. It just needs a bit of practice to get used to driving with the xbox 360 controller. Once you learned it you can be as fast as wheel drivers.
