1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

I guess we are only going to have answers, when ACC will be in eearly access. So many things potentially could be done.

I am waiting for RaceDepartment interview with about ACC, which they asked community to prepare questions. It is taking a while now. There were many many questions, and I still think that many were missing.

    Hello guys !

I not sur about this but something is not clear for me with the FFB on AC.
I feel that the wheel in AC have stranges behaviours at lower speed (maybe too much ?). At 30 klm/h, if you swerve to the right for example and remove you hands of the wheel you have abrupt movements, maybe too strong (you don't have this type of behaviour on IRacing or even PC2).

It's juste a question because it's the only thing is boring me with FFB on AC, and if it's a wrong behaviour, it could be fixed on ACC.

I have a DD (small Mige, simcube) but it was the same with the T300 before that.
Sorry for my bad English and thanks for Kunos and their great job made on AC.

ps: I'm french so the same message in french:
"Je trouve que le volant dans AC a un comportement étrange lorsqu'on est à des faibles vitesses. Par exemple, si je donne un coup de volant dans une direction à 30km/h (même 20) j'ai le volant qui fait des mouvements trop brusques je trouve, chose que je n'ai pas sur un Iracing ou même un PC2. Le volant ne va pas s'emballer à une si faible vitesse.
La raison de ce message et donc que si c'est un comportement qui n'est pas correct/réaliste, cela pourrait être corrigé sur ACC"

    Do you have Gyro on?

  8. DzelRacing

    DzelRacing Racer

    No ! WTF !
But I do not find "assetto corsa.ini" to change Gyro to 1.

    "[FF_EXPERIMENTAL]
    ENABLE_GYRO=0
    DAMPER_MIN_LEVEL=0.0"

Nothing like this, on the "controls.ini"

Any help will be greatly appreciated ! :D

Strange, I don't understand why I have to change a".ini" file ? Especially if it fixe this issue...

    EDIT: Ok, found ! \Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\system\cfg
On system ! I will try this tomorrow and come back to said if it solves this problem !
    Thx !

When I click on your link, I have to log in but it doesn't work after that (error) . This the same account for both (AC and ACC) ? I can't see, access to this page.

My Steam account is therefore linked.

    Thanks Andrew ;)

Ps: Why Kunos puts this option off if this option fix this problem ? There are a benefit to set off..
Is a compromise possible when it's on ?

Normal wheels (G27 G29 and so on) already have so much physical resistance to the ffb (G27 has like, 17% deadzone for example that you need to overcome to even turn the wheel when the person's not touching it) that adding extra simulated damping ends up with the wheel much too hard to turn so the car can't self-steer the way it should. Default settings are pretty much all for entry-level consumer wheels, like you can turn off the road/understeer/slip effects sliders too if you have a strong wheel.

Kunos: "ACC physics engine is an evolution of AC "1" engine. We changed a bunch of stuff in the tyres regarding camber, flex, temperatures. Aero is totally new, drivetrain has improvements as well.

Obviously we think ACC is better because of these improvements, but it's an evolution, not a revolution, thus it's very likely that people who enjoyed AC "1" will also enjoy ACC."

With the new physics in ACC I wonder what the ideal CPU is going to be? 4core, 6core, 8core?

  15. I guess the AI will be still resource hog so no CPU is overkill. As fast as possible.

Yeah, same as AC, as many cores as you want to run AIs is probably best.

i bet a 4core with a high clockrate will be faster then a 6 or 8core variant. UE4 isn't multicore optimized, unless Kunos improved it greatly. (atleast what i red till now)

well if properly set up, it compiles at 100% usage on all 12 cores here

And now I’m guessing what CPU you are using... 8700/Ryzen 2600 series probably a bit too new. 3930k or 5930k?
