Not superior but they should usually have better sense and experience in racecraft in general. (if they are really racing and not just doing trackdays with a roadcar)

Not the road divided by half... The racing line. Which is the black stuff on the road usually. So the guy on the right should have been half a car width more to the right... and you know... this is internet online racing.. where lag happens so both actually should leave more space each other.

@Mike Kadlcak Indeed would carry great experience, and to me it looks like also has great skill of pulling out such tricks very professionally. While being able to avoid very professionaly, and making a decision in no time which is better thing to do.

Good point about racing line, but I'm not totally sure about about black stuff aka groove, as that one is subjective. I think that both cars are controling each other while side to side anyway, and no one of two, or even three, if three wide happens has superiority to take a turn over other drivers, even if they are missing out the apex. In this case the one who is missing out the apex is at fault for missing the apex, but he isn't at fault for contact till it happens, thats how I think it is.

That guy in our example was braking really hard, as he was expecting the outside car to brake just a tiny bit later, but it happened so that it wasn't, so he had to brake even more, and that resulted for him in not being able to turn very much, as we know that you can not turn while you are braking hard.

We had a few more professional drivers in that league, and it was custom that they were rather harsh in defending positions. Closing doors very agressively, pushing out till you are two wheels on the grass... most common stuff. I could look for one more good example, but facebook is terrible for looking what has been posted in the past....

 

There's about 20ft of track to the left which the guy on the outside could have used. He doesn't have a right to any line if someone is on his inside. That's not to say the guy on the inside is completely blameless, he could have hugged the corner more, but the guy on the left is showing lack of awareness or lack of care. Either way, it's him that has more useable track available and should have used it to avoid contact. He's only entitled to the racing line if it's clear. On this occasion it wasn't.

No, although I have participated in that race, but I didn't save the replay, I will check if it was captured in the broadcast though.

It should be the name you registered when you signed up on the Simracing System website. Maybe ask the site admin to change it, if that's possible.

You have to use your name and surname, or something that looks like it if you need to be top secret. For example if you are "Bill Gates", you can also register as Albert Einstein.

FYI i got activated a few days ago. I did my first race tonight. MX5 cup at VIR north. Came in 2nd out of 8. Bigger field would have been nice but it was some good fun clean racing. Unlike public servers...

 

Im so tired off people that dont respect the blue flag. One race destroid battling for first by a blue flagger that wants to race and braking late
cutting the apex and causes a crash. After that Ive lost my temper. Sorry for that but learn the rules before you race on SRS please.

 

It is a sad truth. Some may not understand, and so unsurprisingly as they maybe are born yesterday, and even hardly can stay on track. But there are some mean ones, who would put zero effort to sacrifice their 0.1s for tiny slower line for once. And then would say "it is your problem to overtake me, if you can't then it means you are too slow". Sadly there are such people.

In Escort Brands Hatch race I gained lead because blue flagger shunted off my rival, but then he kept blocking me too.

A ban for a week or month would do the trick...
