I don't get it, are you trying to organize events or make the developers to that for themselves?

 

From the post it looks like a lobby group which I see little to no purpose for.

 

@martcerv - ....exactly community members like you who are negative and counter-productive. we are under ISRF and are trying to align and set things in motion for eSports with other organizations in motorsports who have keen interest in SimRacing/ eSports, but thanks for your positive input. always appreciate the negative, makes it so much more delightful to post in forums.

 

thanks for your post @Housemania - hopefully more soon, but appreciate the constructive posts and feedback. we are hopefully going to offer eSports activities in our region, with our partner organizations in motorsports and event managements, who are keen to support and give SimRacing a fresh breath of air. (like they do in other genres) but SimRacing is coming along very nicely and leaping forward with all the new titles and older titles updating their products and including "eSports" snippets / broadcasting tools and etc.

 

Whats ISRF? Naming more fictional organisations doesnt make yours any more real either. Your post says that your trying to make developers organise things on their own servers. How is that not simply a lobby group?

What else are you doing if your expecting others to actually do everything? If you said your planning to host and organise events it would be fairly different, but your not doing anything beyond telling people you like their stuff but want them to give you more stuff while sitting on a high horse lol.

That post shows your character better, very thought out intelligent and against forum rules regarding personal attacks. Maybe re-read that then look at your claims regarding comunicating like an adult,rather then resorting to childish personal attacks. Is that how your group will lobby the developers too if you dont get your way.

who said anything about lobbying? that's your imagination out on others, or your own failed "lobbying" attempts of getting maybe your own series or league together which i am sure failed miserably.

 

For those who don't know what a lobby group is, here is my definition.
A group or organisation that is created with the solo intention to "influence", "pressure" or "advocate" another group or organisation is generally known as a lobby group. It's a term mainly used in politics but essentially can be adopted to other groups or organisations who adopt similar tactics.
