1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

yes i know i know this sounds extremely stupid but i really can't decide since i know so little about leagues and groups full with racing because they are so different from the usual stuff where i join into.

so why do i ask this?
well as in stated here above i do know little about racing!

i just suck *** in racing and i am pretty sure people will be pissed if i join a serieus race

i am a SLOW driver and sometimes can cause accidents
don't worry i will try to drive clean and not cause any trouble on track

i am not always available to race. only available a few times a month or sometimes not even once a month (so choosing when to race will be a heaven for me)

mostly i am a guy that loves track days (most of the times i am in a track day server)

currently i am in a amateur Counter-Strike team (with friends) so most of the time i will be playing CS:GO
    -------------------------------------------------------------
could you guys help me with a choice of all these groups?
it would love to see how the racing groups/communities work and be part of it!
    Thank you!

There's racedepartment.com, you have to pay a fee to use it, I think it's something like €20 a year. They have races most days of the week, they're supposed to be for fun but they're pretty competitive at the same time. There's a good range of skill. They also do a training academy for AC where the better guys give a class on how to drive better which you can join once you're a premium member.

Racing online with people like that will improve your skillset, even if you're at the back being overtaken the experience is valuable. I'm at a stage now where I practice offline and get somewhat consistent. But when I go to a race on racedepartment the competitive element always means I'm much faster than anything I could achieve offline.

You might feel home at our community, at which membership is free.

You can race any time you want with us, but main series currently takes place Sundays @ 8 PM UK. If that's a time you can commit to at least some Sundays a month, it might be worth checking our website, http://etcc.ridedomain.com .

We run without ABS/TCS/STM, you commit to a car for the entire series (usually about 6 weeks). Check out the current series board, including rules, standings, the magazine (including highlight videos) and weekly race topics here: http://etcc.ridedomain.com/index.php?board=363.0

Any other questions, feel free to ask. If you want to see if it works out in terms of pace, let me know when you're available and I'll get some laps in with you.

If you're a weekend racer we always have something going on - either league or friendly one off club racing events.

We have a GT3 Blancpain league on Saturdays at the moment and also this Sunday we have a racing club event - racing the Abarth 500 Assetto Corse at Silverstone National . We're also starting a historic F1 championship from Sunday 21st Feb using the Lotus 72D.

Plenty going on, so pop over and have a look. StopDropGaming.com

No worries dude, you're more than welcome to join us. I wasn't originally convinced, but converted as the 72D is a blast and I can only smile when racing it :)

That interested me too. The major problem I have with online races is that all anybody wants to drive is boring GT cars. Racedepartment does lots of different cars but it's just not as popular as the GTs. I took part in a race there recently with the Escort at Monza 66 and it was great craic. Side by side drifting out of parabolica and only .080 between 1st and 2nd, the only problem is only 5 took part in total, it would have been crazy with a bigger field.. I don't see why people why people don't want to race cars like the Escort or the GTA more often, if not all the time.

i also love classic cars since they are more drifty and have an OVERPOWERED sound build to it which makes the car feel much faster than it is!

We tend to run GT3's on a Saturday as they're popular, but like to do something different on Sunday's - normally a single make series which can give us lots of options. With that said, the next Saturday series won't be GT3's as we look to revamp things.

Come and join us for the classic f1 series - you know you wanna :d
