1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Generic So using TH8A shifter on WSP

    Dear AC racers,

Tomorrow my T3PA paddles and TH8A shifted will arrive.

I use Wheel stand pro and this version is including shifter mount.
Unfortunately I have the feeling this would not feel natural because the shifter will be to night next to the wheel.

I saw on the internet already some pictures from users using 2 90 degrees metal corner to reposition the shifter. Hope there is someone who can tell me if this works and what size of corners is used.

In the Netherlands they sell them from 20mm to 90mm.

    Thank you all.

    Cheers Bas

the shifter being on the mount next to the wheel isnt too bad, thats how I'm running it.

Its actually in the same place that my wife's last 2 cars had the shifter ,
honda civic ep3 and honda FRV.

And how stable is the WSP when used with a T500RS? I have mine clamped to my desk and have never really considered a wheel stand, but I'm starting to consider the idea as long as they are not too wobbly :)

Get very little wobble with it on a TX which I think is a bit lighter than the 500RS.
the main downside with the wheel stand pro is the centre bar which can get in the way sometimes, I've had mine for years used it with a Driving force pro on PS3/Microsoft wheel xbox 360 when they first came out and there was nothing else like it on the market.
I just bought the G27 mounting plate when I upgraded my wheel which also fitted my TX when I upgraded again.

If I was buying one now I'd consider the gtomega ones as they do not have the centre bar but I'm not sure of the quality of these as the WSP is solid even after about 8 years of use.

Thanks for the feedback. What I hear is that especially the stick from the shifter Is very tall. Ending up in a too high (unnatural) position for the shifter knob.

But thinking about to give it a try. It's always possible to mod it later.

Unfortunately the shifter and pedals were not in yet so will come next week.

    Will tell my findings here.

About WSP. For me it's totally not wobbly at all. I know there are various models for t80, t150 en t300. Had the t80 before and used this WSP temporary for my T150. At that moment is was more wobbly and had the feeling it was falling over because of the weight. The correct WSP for t150 does a much better job. After comparing the difference was that the WSP for t150 is a bit bigger (ground base) and a bit heavier.

Happy to race ac with this WSP

    Cheers Bas
