1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    @fabT - yeah i like monaco, i guess the mod is a rip from some f1 game, but i will try it offline later and see, i wouldn't mind putting it up.

    @Christopher Low - this happens to me too and i can't quite figure it out. i thought it might be maybe not high enough blib on downshift during braking. or.. too much braking while already turning. something like that, ´hmhm. maybe @andy-riches knows more about this, he likes the AE86 too and raced it a lot.

    @Michael Hornbuckle - fair point, but that would be for a different server, i.e. Middleweight. - which has exactly those cars in the grid, right? tofuweight is just boring old slowcars for slowpokes like me! i wouldn't mind having tsukuba on the middleweight server sometimes though!

    I have noticed this too, it's kinda similar to the old Maserati 250f in that the motor seems to bog down weirdly like the clutch isn't engaging properly, and can cause rear wheel lock up. I two foot brake/gas to slow the car down while keeping the motor spinning in the right range.

    I drive with paddle shifters so I wonder if there is some sort of "feature" of the game where the clutch undergoes some sort of "fade" similar to the brakes on old cars?

    @Kade explained to me why this happens... i'd make a mess of explaining it. I know exactly what you mean though, yesterday we used the stock AE86 at Vallelunga Classic and the Club section of that circuit is the worst place ever for the AE86. It is fine at tracks like NJMP or RBR National but that car is dodgy through the Club section at Vallelunga!!! You can kind of drive around it but it is pretty sketchy at Semaforo & Tornatino. If you give it lots of throttle you can get it to come back alive, it is stalling pretty much.

    Hey guys, if somebody got some time to check for a possible MP bug, please let me know.

    I need another admin though and if possible a third driver too, don't know how long it will be, but I guess it could be 10-15 minutes and I'd need to be able to chat with other admin outside AC. (i.e. steam chat)

    tried the faster cars on middleweight S... are we sure MR is really working? there is no way some of those guys can be A or B... got bumped from behind so many times right at the start and into the first corner... also the ingame MR CP messages are not working, but i guess minolin knows that.
    meh.. i might set up tofuweight to monaco with only miatas with the race repaints.

    No, not even remotely what I wanted to say.

    There are bad drivers around that are AB, but as long as we know other grades than AB can join (i.e. color of those guys in HeliCorsa, A and B are green, white means HeliCorsa couldn't get the rank, everything else is a worse grade) I wouldn't worry about MR not working.

    So far the incident messages seem to be the only thing not working.

    Is that the same thing that happens with the Escort? You have to rev it like crazy on downshifts otherwise it feels like the rear axle dies and the back of the car wants to rotate as soon as you turn.

    Nah, same as on SF. Probably better that way, too. Anyway, I have the feeling there are way less clowns around here that need to feel the swift boot of kicking... ;)
    Too bad... Saturday I'll only be here until early afternoon, i.e. not for the 24h race itself (24h Classics on Friday is way more interesting anyway). Need to be at my missus' parents' place near Cologne Saturday night. Would have loved to buy the father of MR a beer...

    It seems to struggle quite a bit to be able to at least have a decent chance to compete.

    I dont remember what was the grid like the last time I drove it as it was not that off pace. If its still there tomorrow I'd like to try it again, I remember it to be quite fun to drive (that was pre inertia changes though).
