1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I think it's just the adjustment from one sim to another, I was aware of the ballast, we used to race the 718 and GTA often in days gone by. Might be partially the live axle fix as well, havent driven it much since then and the understeer is real!

    On a side note.....I visited my brother and his family for a few days this weekend, and part of the journey north included a single track road in the wilds of Scotland between two reservoirs called Megget and Talla. This is generally a location visited by more rugged cars, and the local population of sheep. However, parked in one of the "Passing Places" on this mountain road was........an Aston Martin Vantage! :eek:

    Is anything planned for this evening ? Everything is good for me, as long as we are racing together. Maybe something at Monza ? Doesn't matter which, classic or modern. Did Streetfight ever race at Monza ? I have never noticed.

    By the way, another nice edit from my local masters. Not SF related, but it is refreshing, it makes you refresh it multiple times.

    We tried modern Monza once with CB, not a good match, RUF took off.
    It's just benefiting some cars too much and the balance is off too much. That's pretty much the main reason for not using Monza. (along with my opinion that it's rather boring in slow cars)

    330P4 at Brands against AI is a good one, especially at Alien level. What a great car. 312/67 at Silverstone67 is a bit tougher for me to conquer. The starts are a bit of a gong show tho. SF been very quiet lately.

    I'd propose '60s/'70s vintage cars at Spa.
    Maybe 100 km races ?

    These are the cars i'd like to see and their RSR best time ( i know it's not accurate ):

    Ferrari 330 P4 - 2:32
    Porsche 908 LH - 2:36
    Ford GT 40 - 2:38
    Porsche 911 Carrera RSR - 2:38
    Ferrari GTO - 2:40
    Shelby Cobra - 2:41

    Quite some performance gap between the 330 and the other cars, which are not that far from each other.
    I wouldn't mind BOPing the cars though.

    Think about some track day event with endurance elements.
    Just for fun / driving pleasure.

    Yeah, last time I think the 330 got a restrictor.

    Spa, Silverstone 67, Brands Hatch seem like good options, maybe Monza 66 GP.

    But I don't know how attractive endurance races would be, depending on track that might be something like 40 min. driving time.

    I think 2x 10 min. or 2x 12 min. still is a good setup, if you crash your race might be over (or you're alone), but the next race ain't too far away.

    Bah ... i got the wrong car ( "Ferrari GTO" instead of "Ferrari 250 GTO" ).

    Fastest time in the 250 GTO is 2:54 by Mathieu, which makes more sense.

    I was not thinking about real endurance, but longer races.
    100 Km at Spa means about 15 laps i guess.

    It's just an idea though, maybe you're right and not worth it.

    EDIT: The only track you listed and i'm not sure about is Brands. I like it, but with challenging cars it can become a mess unless MR A

    Racing Legends with the 3 LM cars is up, no tyre blankets, 2x 12 min. races and 80% restrictor for 330.
    Can't remember the BoP we ran last time, but considering the 330 is 4s faster 80% probably won't be too harsh.

    I've restrained myself though to name it LeMonsweight. :p

    Well populated server and mostly by well behaving drivers.
    Entertaining racing, challenging vintage cars and a fitting track.
    Can i ask for more ? Nope.

    Same here, good racing in those beasts! Sorry for my high ping, sadly playing from China I can't do any better. The connection is very stable though.

    Didn't do a lot of races, but those few I did were nice. Apart from my driving at times that resulted in some contacts. I also put myself into the wall (if in doubt - flat out didn't work this time) and broken the front left wheel. Then I decided it's not my day and it's better to quit before making more damage to others.
