Trailer reminds me of the Top Gear episode when they shoot a car chase theme for a movie or something and Richard gives many ridiculously unrealistic ideas. It seems that this game is packed with all those ideas.
I actually had good fun with the first game, but I really hate all the in game purchases and all the DLC advertisements they throw at my face every 5 seconds when I'm driving.

Yes. Like every minute it asks me to purchase the new cop chase DLC, which I'm not really interested in. I assume you have all DLCs so you don't see it?

 

I tried the demo of the first one and found it a bit, meh.. I don't know if it's just me getting old or whether games are just getting more boring the harder they try. It's like there's loads to do in these games but nothing worth doing.

I even found GTA 5 a bit dull, once I'd finished the story I was done with the game, and GTA was the one game series I always loved and couldn't get enough of.

When the choice is jumping into the sim rig and just picking a car, track and whether I want other cars involved and just driving, or loading up any other title and sitting through all it's uber coolness and it sucking up to my ego, I'll take the straight forward driving any day.

I think I'm just getting old though, games were better back in my day... Even though in every measurable way they clearly aren't better than modern games.

 

Yes, you're getting old, been through the exact same, multiple times with the same result.
Although, a few games I did play in recent years was actually pretty good one-off adventures, like The Last of Us, Red dead redemption and Witcher. I did actually almost enjoy Horizon zero dawn, which was the only blockbuster this year I've bought, but it felt just like finishing GTA5, empty and pointless. But fun while it lasted, I guess

The only games worth playing is the ones that either simulate something real, something in which you can improve your skills, preferably with multiplayer and in combination of these factors.

Simrace, and in particular AC, is really something else. Not many games offer basically stuff you can both do and get better at in the real world, if you had the money to do it, while at the same time you can share it with friends and the rest of the worldwide community. Simrace, and smashing friends in Fifa or some fightergame, those are the games that I think I still will be playing 10years from now too.

 

Wow didnt know they were like that.
Hope its not going to be like that in the second one because iam actually intrested in this just because of the planes and boats.

Looks good, but I hope that flight mode is not taken from ghost recon wildland............hope it has better ffb and wheel support. (The Crew 1 actually has "ok" ffb, better than FH3 anyway.)
One question: when did Porsche become so cheap, just throw their licence to every race game...
