1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I can give you some gossip.

    When I was on my back home from work yesterday i saw a koenigsegg that was in "cover" ( i dont know the correct word in english) he was in meeting traffic (he wasnt actually on the other traffic side, but we went -> way and he went this way <-) . Theres places where some brands test their car from what ive heard. I was clueless about since yesterday lol). "covered" (again: cars from saab

    It was cool to see!

    I dont know what this has to do with any specific social network. but it was awesome when i first realized what i saw, thought id share it.

    Working in automotive engineering it´s sometimes funny through what amount of trouble the OEMs go to hide some features of a car that is about to be published two weeks later. We had cars which were on transporter with two covers, transporter had to be sealed and the transporter driver had the key to remove the upper cover (made it possible for him to get the car of the trailer but it was still mostly cloaked). Second key was sent to the testing location where they could remove the lower cover indoors for testing purposed (wind tunnel, etc.). In the end, most people would probably not have noticed anything if it would have driven plainly on the road. And in that case it wasn´t exactly a new model. I guess a lot of it is actually a marketing gig to get people hyped...

    Seeing a Koenigsegg is something special in any case, though, I guess. Not too many of those around. Near my current workplace is a sportscar dealer licensed for Koenigsegg as well, but still it´s rare to actually see one. Some other nice rides, though...

    On another note, I´ll be getting little AC time since I got myself a Squier Standard Strat today, taking a peek into this guitar business. ;) Will be on the forums though and most likely visit virtual Green Hell every now and than.

    That’s awesome, some serious money there. Great to see the cars actually used and not just museum pieces. Those things are so technically advanced yet so raw at the same time, has to be close to the ultimate drivers car.

    You can also subscribe to the gtworld channel on youtube and it will give you a notification any time there is a live session plus I think they have full race replays and highlights from most if not all past SRO series races. ;)

    Cheers, will have a look. Can’t say I’ve ever watched any of the Blancpain racing before, that will likely change now. Was prety annoyed last weekend with the Bathurst 6hour, free live stream for every country except Australia and we didn’t even get live tv coverage. Foxtel only I think.

    Amazed they dont have a race series for the hypercars. SRO does have the ultra car sessions which are basically just a track day for ultra rich during Blancpain events. There are plenty of these cars around racing them or just getting a timed session could be interesting.

    Searching I just saw they had an Ultra car and GT1 session last year at Paul Ricard.

    Blancpain also have a phone app which gives all driver/team details, live timings, calendar etc and has a live videos page linked to GTWorld YT channel too. It gives notifications a few minutes before events starts. Race 1 starts at 14.35 today.
    I downloaded it when ACC was announced
    With Sky making F1 ridiculously expensive to watch in the UK for the next 4 years, I think Blancpain will be my new favourite motorsport.
