1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    "Nine" = "Nein" sounds similar in german :D. But even then it makes no sence :). Impressive video from Jan! You can see that he is impressed and amused by using AC. I would love to see him using VR.

    I think you don't really need subtitles. A lot of comments are the same over time in this video. Long story short:
    • He sais that the FFB is much better compared to PC2
    • Was really impressed by the sounds from other cars inside the cockpit (e.g. Porsche GT3)
    • Likes graphics details in cockpit view
    • Really liked the physics --> he recognises that he has to concentrate more on the driving technique (compared with PC2 i assume)
    • Impressed by the reality to fight against other opponents and that the weaknesses and strengths of each car is recognizable (compared AMG GT3 vs. Porsche GT3)

    And:
    - real cockpit looks exactly like the one in AC
    - track (Nürburgring) looks exactly the same like IRL
    - AMG in AC over- and understeers at the same places like its real counterpart on the Nürburgring
    - cold tyres feel right
    - He often says "mega geil" :)
    - He nearly came (slight exaggeration!) when the Porsche GT3 passed him :) - sounds like IRL
    - He'd like to play multiplayer
    - He wonders how iRacing feels/drives if AC is so good
    - Game vs. Reality 1:0 for Assetto Corsa :)
    - AC is the best game so far (compared to RL)

    He's also stunned by T2, where he's moaning about understeer. Tells that IRL you just lift to get load on the front ... wait exactly that works here!
    Cold tyre feeling is mentioned as accurate, as well as warming them up
    Is not satisfied about oversteery behaviour, but admits it's just default setup
    "Would be cool if I just pushed that button and it'll flash the car in front" ^^

    Overall I'm amazed how ****ing fast he is straight away, and also catches many of the drifts. A few corners looked comparable to alien-like pushing. Imho he suffered from the high FoV, as his measurements and apex-hitting became a lot better during the 5 laps. Still I'd think it is impossible to jump into AC without any practice (in AC) and nail such laps.
