1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

PS4 Thrustmaster T150 Shaking Violently Whilst Stationary

    Good afternoon,

I've recently purchased Assetto Corsa for PS4 and come across an issue with my Thrustmaster T150 when the cars are stationary whether it be in the pits or parked at the side of the road. Unless the wheel is at dead center whilst stationary it begins to rumble like crazy as if you're constantly going over really violent curbstones. I've checked all my Firmware is updated and also tried all sorts of FFB settings to reduce the shaking.
I'm starting to worry for the sake of my wheel as a result of this issue as I have never experienced it whilst driving in any other sim or game on the market. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Mine would do that when starting races.. if you pulled the wheel (hold without letting go) either way a bit it would stop. Other than turning down the FFB (Think i was at 60%), there wasn't much I could do. I just accepted it as the wheel performed great the rest of the time. On a side note, it also did it on a straight away in project cars (which was MUCH worse). I upgraded to the T300 RS, and haven't seen that issue since. Still think the T150 was great bang for the buck.

If I'm not mistaken, this has been already reported as a bug, and I confirm this happens to me (and saw some other people reporting it on this forum) since I used my T150 with Assetto Corsa, exactly as you described. When it happens I just immediately move it a little and it stops, but sure is just a workaround.

My ffb is set at 50% and everything else at 0% with understeer effect on.

I guess that due to other priorities on the patching "roadbook" this has been postponed, but again, I'm just guessing.

    Cheers

Thanks for the replies guys. Seeing the thread linked I don't think there's going to be a fix just around the corner. The vibration seems to be a representation of the wheels of the vehicle moving whilst the car is still stationary and the force you'd need to do that. I believe this is covered by the damping effects of each individual wheel type which Kunos have stated is fixed as per the factory settings for each wheel with no option to change them in the FFB options in game. This will probably explain why different wheels experience this in a different way, the T150's way being desk shattering vibrations. Anyway, I've learnt to deal it with by not moving the wheel at all whilst stationary or on the grid and only turning once the car is in motion. I guess we all have to compromise sometimes...
