1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

We need your opinion! JOYPAD SUPPORT

    6. IMPORTANT:
Here you can share your suggestions to improve the gamepad support:

6.a. "It must.. Rework automatic clutch, because it's terrible
6.b. "It should.. Add possibility to map glancing views on the right stick (of course with deadzone about 20%), i use to glance right/left with some sensibility and glance back by put right stick down
6.c. "It could.. Make controls settings easier, for example i think Gama is like linearity only with no-linear function - easier is set the right value for linearity and then set value of curving the line, or another example i think Filter is just imput lag of steering animation (it's easier to understand what is gonna happen when we'll change the value), also you can add more possibilities, for example sector filtering...
6.d. "It would.. Make better system of speed sensitivity, because while car is driving normally, it's better to set higher value, but when it's going to loose grip, it's needed to turn speed sensitivity off (Forza have this feature), another thing is difference between car with high steering rate (for example M3 E92), and with low (P4/5) - on P4/5 is speed sensitivity absolutely useless, in general, while car is driving more than 80km/h - ideal speed sensitivity is up to 450° of steering wheel rotation, when it's slowing down, steering rate is smoothly rising, to avoid desorientation you can just add depending on actual gear (as in Forza), and when car loose the grip, speed sensitivity turns off in opposity way (opposite side of axis)...

It must recognize all buttons, for example the D-Pad on my joystick it's not recognized by the wizard (in other games it's fully functional.

6.a. I wanted to write that the "speed sensitivity"-slider must become more precise at the lower end. But it seems, that it already is, compared to earlier versions of AC. I used to have a 0 here to be able cornering hairpins, sharp chicanes etc. Now, it works well with 0.05. The overall steering is smoother than with 0, but still beeing able to manage sharp corners! :)

F599xx, Lotus Elise (although haven't tried it in a while), F40,

    6. My biggest problem by far is the sensitivity of brakes and gas, I can have decent control over steering, including doing countersteers when I have to correct it, but gas and brake is just too sensitive and it's hard to have feel for it, hence I use ABS ,
however, I don't use traction control, becasue I don't like how it works in game, it cut too much power all the time, It would be great to have some settings Low/Med/High/off, not only SuperHigh/Off,

as per braking, I suppose if I spend time with setup, I could adjust the brakes so that they wouldn't lock that easily, but that could mean that I will be too slow on braking , so usign ABS sounds like easier option,
I guess the biggest problem is that people from consoles are used to press the gas/brake pedal fully, not being too sensitive with it,

steering is bit fast with the settings I use, but it definitely is well managable,
setting that doesn't make sense to me is the Speed Sensitivity , I don't think it works for anything more then 0.1% ... so that makes it weird, because from the whole slider you only have very limited amount of how it can work

the way it work ( how it seems to me ) is that it limits how much steering angle you can do, but this means - with higher settings - that you won't be able to steer too much into sharp corners, hence I have it setup very low, even though it makes it bit twitchy

(hopefully thats how it should be and not horribly bugged atm :p) I think because the steering and throttle seem quite gradual so make it easier to ensure you aren't turning too quickly or applying the throttle to rapidly, not sure if thats the settings or not.

    6. Default xbox360 gamepad settings give great "car feeling" but problem is that cars react bad during curves. Cars just don't turn - angle of virtual steering wheel is very small. With settings I play now cars turn quite good (virtual steering wheel angle still isn't perfect) but "car feeling" (grip) is very similar for different cars.
Triggers work great, also responsiveness to analog stick movement is very good.
Like someone said before we should be able to " look around on Right Stick".

    5b. Least drivable with gamepad
Since I like to drive without traction control, every car with too much power is a bit hard.
Have to drive some more to decide, if there's a particularly hard one.

    6. Suggestions
    6.a.
In my opinion the "Speed Sensitivity" influence should kick in slower.
What I mean is that at very low speeds it should have no influence at all. And at low speeds the influence should be a lot smaller than it is now.
At the moment you only need to drive like 10km/h, and you already get a pretty big turning circle with settings of 0.10 or higher. But at that speed a limitation of the steering angle does not make a lot of sense.
It would be optimal, if instead of having just a percent-value we could tweak the transition curve by ourselfs.
6.b. It would be very cool to be able to set the traction control in a manner of 0-100% (like with the stability control).
At the moment I like to drive without it, because if it's on, the cars feel a bit too "tamed", and it's good for drifting and controlled oversteering.
But then for the more powerful cars it gets a bit hard to hit the right spot with the gas-trigger.
6.c. It would be nice to be able to control everything in the menue with the gamepad.

6.d. There should be an option similar to filter, but only affecting the steering speed in the direction "away from zero". So that you turn the wheel a bit slower, if it goes away from 0°, but you get the full turning speed, if it goes back to 0°.
It would also make sense to connect it to the driving speed, so that it has more influence at higher speed and no influence at low speeds (tweakable curve would be great).
This setting would make it easier to do small corrections by tapping the analog-stick, especially at high speed (it's easy to tap it shortly, but hard to not go too far with the stick), without having that "delayed" feel, that you get with high "Filter" values.

5b. The least drivable car in the game with gamepad
there isn't a "least drivable" car in this game, you just have to adapt, whether your using a controller, wheel or mouse & kb.

    6. IMPORTANT:
Here you can share your suggestions to improve the gamepad support:
    6.a. "It must..
let me controll the menus with it (i like to sit back while driving and making any changes forces me to stretch out for my mouse & kb)
6.b. .. split axis for triggers
    6.c. ..
let me look around in cockpit view with the right thumbstick (to look at my sidemirrorz? thx)
6.d. "It would.. be great if the game came with a presaved setup called "KuBr0s x360 Settings" with the settings which I use ;)
