Welcome to the thread for Weekly Hotlap #36 - Sport Evolution The Challenge. Car: BMW M3 E30 Track: Nurburgring - Sprint (GT) - Make sure you pick the right one! Homologation special for touring car racing, fantastic drive, low on power but has great balance. The car in the game appears to be the Sport Evolution or Evo III version of the M3, power output (238bhp) and the adjustable front splitter and rear wing point to this. It has rudimentary ABS and no traction control, you get a set of semi slicks to use on track A return to the Sprint version of the GP track for this one, the short cut is tricky and you get to do your best touring car impression through the faster version of the chicane at the end of the lap The Rules. Mode: Hotlap Time of day: Free Ambient Temp: 26 Degrees Setup: Free Controller: Free Assists: Factory Stability: Free If it isn't mentioned here then assume the setting is free. Please make sure you have the ambient temperature set correctly, and that you are in hotlap mode, I really don't like disallowing times! The Deadline. Sunday June 25th - 22:00 BST (GMT+1) How to take part! To enter simply head into the game select Drive > Hotlap and choose the BMW M3 E30 and head to Nurburgring - Sprint (GT) Make sure you setup the session using the settings detailed in this thread and hit the track! You can run as many laps as you like and update your times as often as you like, its simple All Platforms are welcome, it is all about having fun and enjoying Assetto Corsa. To submit a time, pause the game and select 'session' from the menu and screenshot this page or take a photo of your screen and post it in this thread - Note all the information from the screen is required including temperature and mode heading. Feel free to post video clips and share information in here as well, but without the session screen your time will not be included (placing the session screen in a video clip is acceptable). You also need to state the time and your platform in the body of your post, this should be the first thing you do, the image should then be placed below the text. It would also be helpful to mark updated times with Improvement. This makes collating the results much easier. A leader board will be collated on a daily basis to keep everyone up to date on where they currently stand...Unfortunately editing of posts gets locked on this forum so this post will not be updated. Feel free to use the unofficial leader board but remember you still need to include the session screen in this thread to be included in the results. Sorry still haven't the foggiest how to get a screenshot to this forum? T300rs , t3pa with Bodin load cell brake conversion, t8ha, pc, htc vive, gt omega rig, etc.
@paul_wev , you know how to get a screenshot onto the forum (you managed in your first post) it just isn't the right screen or track for that matter! I seem to remember from the other thread it was simply a case of pausing the game during the session, but will go back and see what was said.
Nurburgring Sprint (GT) not GP (GT); for the screen other time i said you how to take it , go into tab session when you are in the pit, press f12, you will see that the screen is added on steam, open from steam the library with the screens, choose the right screen and upload it on a site like postimage for example, take a link created from the site and paste it here
Ok Thankyou, I've got a brain injury amongst lots of other injuries , (so my memory is shocking sometimes, there's no pattern to it) after a motorbike accident 6 years ago, so I apologise for not being very bright sometimes and thanks for putting up with me and all of the help that I have been very lucky to get T300rs , t3pa with Bodin load cell brake conversion, t8ha, pc, htc vive, gt omega rig, etc.
Thanks @Fab85 for trying to clear things up! I can't really help much on this particular problem. It should be possible to add the screen cap directly from PC to the thread as an attachment, the forum does compress images which makes some screens neigh on impossible to read though
More than the forum compression i think that the problem is the bad quality of the screen that some players take, at least we need 1024x768 and, like mine in preview for example, not too big and not too small, with clear number , we need to teach every player to post a standard format easy to read, without photos taken with smartphone tablet or other things; for pc there is F12 with auto saved screen on steam, for ps4 share button for take the screen and save it on a usb for example, and on xbox one i don't know but sure a similar method like ps4
It's all or nothing with this car so .... I did my first temptation on this track . PS4 Default setup Laptime : 1:46.780
For one or two strange mystery reason I can't make my picture more clear or larger . When I take a picture from my PS4 it is 1920x1080 in JPG format but when I upload it here on this site it becomes 0px × 0px (640px × 359px) . Before I had no problem with this ..hell I had to make it even smaller . Strange indeed I would say .
The mistake is upload directly the photo here without going on upload site where you can choose several formats
The best solution is to use an external image hosting site, such as Flickr / photobucket / etc. This does takes some extra time and but the image quality is much better. Most of these sites generate the BB code for you so it is a simple copy paste job on the forum. Some actually make it a link as well so it is possible to click the image and see the original full size image. There have been some screens of late that I simply cannot read and I have given the benefit of the doubt to...
Finally sorted out a tv and now my TH8A shifter has just died on me,i was looking forward to this one.I might use flappy paddles but it's not the same.
I need to call the ghostbustlers to eliminate the spooky ghost Aliens who are in my computer while uploading my picture , or could there be a conspiracy against my upload files hmmmmmmm on this site we need a revolution lotion factor6 .
1:47:268-BrainsBush - PS4 Slipping and sliding is so much fun with this car but not healthy for the tires and to set a reasonable time.
