1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    The Challenge.
    Car: BMW M3 E92
    Track: Mugello

    @V8_KB suggested this combo rather nice it is too, the M3 is a really rather good, 414bhp power and a really nicely balanced rear wheel drive chassis make for a compelling drive. The power delivery from that fantastic V8 is super smooth, no nasty turbo charger torque spikes here unlike that break the rear end loose! Back to basics with setup, finding the tyre pressure that works for you will be the most important factor...

    Mugello, lots of medium speed corners on this track, which is good news as the M3 likes 3rd gear ;) A couple of very long corners that it is easy to loose time in, the key is to nail the last corner twice...

    The Rules.
    Mode: Hotlap
    Time of day: Free
    Ambient Temp: 26 Degrees
    Setup: Free
    Controller: Free
    Assists: Factory
    Stability: Free

    If it isn't mentioned here then assume the setting is free.

    Please make sure you have the ambient temperature set correctly, and that you are in hotlap mode, I really don't like disallowing times!

    The Deadline.
    Sunday September 10th - 22:00 BST (GMT+1)

    How to take part!
    To enter simply head into the game select Drive > Hotlap and choose the BMW M3 E92 and head to Mugello . Make sure you setup the session using the settings detailed in this thread and hit the track!

    You can run as many laps as you like and update your times as often as you like, its simple :) All Platforms are welcome, it is all about having fun and enjoying Assetto Corsa.

    To submit a time, pause the game and select 'session' from the menu and screenshot this page or take a photo of your screen and post it in this thread - Note all the information from the screen is required including temperature and mode heading.

    Feel free to post video clips and share information in here as well, but without the session screen your time will not be included (placing the session screen in a video clip is acceptable).

    You also need to state the time and your platform in the body of your post, this should be the first thing you do, the image should then be placed below the text. It would also be helpful to mark updated times with Improvement. This makes collating the results much easier.

    A leader board will be collated on a daily basis to keep everyone up to date on where they currently stand...Unfortunately editing of posts gets locked on this forum so this post will not be updated.

    Feel free to use the unofficial leader board but remember you still need to include the session screen in this thread to be included in the results.

    This combo is one of fav's. I love street cars, and this is one of the better ones. Sloppy handling (plenty of body roll) and lots of power makes keeping the backend in check tricky. It requires lots of throttle control and counter steering = so much fun. the key to fast times is getting the power to the track instead of smoking the tires. Just be smooth.
    I'll be trying this one again.

    To be honest I already expected this combo and set a time a couple of days ago. This is my base time. From now on I will set a new time on my PC/VR rig.
    I invested muchos Euros in new equipment. Will it also make me faster :eek:....

    Disaster in the making! This is one of those cars that reminds me I can't actually drive. Probably went around for like 6-8 good laps, dropping down from a 2:22 and 2:17 to start. Wasn't feeling the paddles or cabin noise, so I figured sliding the car around would shake things up. I was right, but for the wrong reasons since it shook up my resolve and eagerness to continue driving in a hurry. I'll be sleeping with quite a big cloud over my head tonight...

    Nah, it's really not that bad. I should be back for another go, but don't be surprised if this is my one and only submission for the week. Must learn how to drift!!!

    First time using this track so the visual cues are not set yet. Started at the 2:18's until I improved to 2:15 constantly. Much more room for improvement I hope.
