1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

@the3ws nice lap, here is a comparison which might be of some use. I should have paid more attention when I made it as I have cut the video short at the end :/

Looks like you are losing a large chunk of time in the corner that leads on to the back straight. It is an important one as you are losing all the way down that straight if you dont get a good exit.

(At Chapel I would normally take the same line as you but in this car it doesn't really matter as you can take the corner flat with ease and I found I gained a few hundredths of a second not moving over to the right for Chapel on that lap.)

Brilliant. Thanks, Andy. Great job synching the videos.

I see what you mean. Becketts seems to be where I can make up some time . You stay much wider than me on the run in and you turn in earlier than I do. I take your point about Chapel. I was thinking that I needed to open up the corner so I didn't scrub off too much speed. I'll try your line tomorrow.

    Thanks again.

Thanks, BrainsBush. I was concentrating hard on braking. I used to stamp the peddle. I still do but not as much.

Your welcome :) other than that corner our laps are quite similar. If you brake a bit earlier for Becketts and get a good exit you should be able to improve your lap time quite a lot! I normally do the same as you at Chapel and I doubt you will see much of a gain but maybe give it a go as well, I did see a very minor improvement, I guess it is less distance travelled with that line and not enough speed scrubbed off to make it a slower line, if I hadn't ended up as wide on the exit of Becketts I wouldn't have tried it. I guess it is worth knowing it is an option in this car so you could try quite early throttle in Becketts safe in the knowledge you can use all the road on exit and still make Chapel with no real loss of time there.

I know I am losing at least .4 between copse and beckets really struggling with hitting apex’s and balancing the car from oversteer.
    Sounds great though!

Thanks to all the advises I could scrape 0,7 seconds off. I think I know how to handle this car in the corners. I was constantly kind of counter steering. It is more like racing a kart. Tomorrow other attemps. Now back to the yard with 30 degrees celcius and an ice cold beer

    Help!!!!
Anyone got any advice on camber and toe settings for this combo plz?

Think I’ve well and truly hit my limit now but it’s so addictive, I’m really starting to like this car & track now.

I'd be interested to hear others' opinions. I'm always playing around with camber and toe, but personally I can't tell the difference with the Alfa. I'm currently using maximum positive camber on the front (0.5 on the slider) and I'm only a tenth off my fastest lap set with maximum negative camber (-2). I've had similar experiences with toe. It doesn't seem to make much difference to handling and speed. The handling might be because I'm sensitive enough to feel subtle changes.

For the record my fastest time was set using:

    Tyre pressure
    33 34
    31 32

    Camber
    -2 -2
    0.3 0.3

    Toe
    18 18
    6 6

Thanks mate I’ll give them settings a go now.
I’m the same, I mess about trying different toe and camber but it never seems to make a difference in how the cars handle.
Yours and Andy-R’s video has helped me a hell of a lot though so big thanks to you both for sharing.

Wow completely different from what I stole from Setupmarket.com I will also try your setup like @Lewisxbone did.
BTW are we using tyre blankets on or off. My default is always on, but don't know why?

I have a similar setup to you. Just on mine I have -2 camber on the back.
