1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

And because my wife is also taking a shower and I was not welcome in the bathroom I just had to do another try. 0,05 faster and edited my previous posting.

I think this weeks WHC was another (red)Bullseye. Thx Hugo

That moment you see in your left corner you just set the #1 time in RSR and a tear of joy pops up and about 10 seconds later a guy named @Andy-R beat the time with 1.1 sec :mad::p cheers mate!

    Lol you caught me!

I threw together some different colour skins with racing numbers for MP so it wouldn't look so out of place racing alongside the Cobra. They are quite a good match in some ways, both 60's, competition cars for the road in a way and similar pace at some tracks as well. The Cobra is a lot faster on the straights which is annoying with a small field of people in MP but it was the case in 60's sports car racing as well (the difference in speed not the lack of people :p)

  12. This is just for reference - peakgrip = (180/pi) * DCAMBER_0 / (2 * DCAMBER_1)

check your tyres.ini for camber gain, and pi = 3.145

Chuffed to get below 40’s but I Lost 3-4 tenths on the bend after the long straight, think it’s Stowe.
Don’t think I’m carrying enough speed through the corners but don’t know if it’s because I’m braking too late or I’m just not getting back on the throttle early enough. So frustrating!!!

I know what you mean. I've done about 30 laps and all I've got to show for it is a 2 hundredths improvement. Andy and the others have shown that there are big improvements to be had, but damned if I can find them.

I'm facing same dilema!:) and not sure as to whether to clip the apexes tightly or go wider to carry more speed for the straightaway. I'm not an expert, but I think that's what trail braking is all about and its importance in this particular challenge.

No racing going on so I took some pics of initial braking points and the place where I'm getting back on full throttle.

I am releasing the brakes whilst positioned on the outside edge of the straight before the corner, just before the turn in point (so no trail braking really) and then using 20-50% throttle to keep the car balanced and to "steer" it to the full throttle point and maximize corner speed keeping the car between running too wide of the apex point (by lifting off the throttle a bit) and leaving corner potential on the table by being able to make the apex earlier/without maximum cornering potential (cured by adding throttle.)

    Woodcote:
Brake marker - About half way through the off track pavement on the left.
This higher speed corner requires more throttle management than all the others.
