1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Thanks to Andy’s great info
    I can see why I never carry enough speed through corners exit now.
    I think I always brake then coast towards the apex but don’t use the throttle until I’m coming out of the corner.
    I can’t believe I’ve been doing it wrong all this time.

    Yeah the default setting was fast instead of optimun,i only noticed after taking the picture and didnt bother to do more laps.i intend to improve anyways,so it doesnt matter that much

    Stowe is the problem corner for me. I find it difficult getting to full throttle early enough without running wide. It feels like the camber of the road pushes you out more than you would expect. Any slender advantage I have is lost at this point and the ghost car goes past ... again.

    That’s exactly what my problem is.
    Most of the time when I’m tryna carry more speed through I get pushed outwards on to the grass.

    Im averaging 40.3-40.8 secs for the first split, but the 2nd split 1:18.5** .
    No matter what I try I can’t get under that 1:18 and I’m certain it’s because I’m loosing time at Stowe.

    It is a pity that console players can't see telemetry data so we can analyze laps in more detail. On PC you can. In the in-game menu you can see brake and throttle traces of your best and last laps. Even better there is a third party app (ACTI) that converts the data so that it can be analyzed using Motec.

    I have been able to access remote telemetry data via UDP and export it to a CSV file, but have no way of turning it to a Motec file.

    Apologies for hijacking the thread, but access to telemetry data I feel is something that should be available in a sim.

    I seriously lack motivation for RBR National and also this track. It's disappointing because this is such a fabulous car to drive. Anyway, this screen was taken earlier in the week. Almost forgot to even post it here...

    Oh, and having skimmed through this thread a few times throughout the week I gotta say @Andy-R is on it both with the tips and the actual lap!
