1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

  1. I'm glad to present my hand brake mod (DIY low budget version)
Since I can't afford a $200+ handbrake solution I've just used an old G25 pedal I had. Cut a paint roller for the handle (it even has some paint splats on it), soldered a small plate to attach to the pedal base and voila.
I've got an analog handbrake using the G27 internal controller (as I have my pedals connected to a bodnar usb adapter)
    It works like a charm!

I saw this post first on my phone and thought it looked great but I didn't read it or see the wielded on paint roller handle. It's only now on my desktop that I can fully appreciate it's brilliance, the post that keeps on giving.

OMG! I love those setups @Tiago Lima... Looks like a simple, utilitarian design, which I prefer...and there is no freakin' bar between the driver's legs...Ugh. I could never drive in a rig with a bar there. Great job.

  10. a new cool gadget I've just got (bought) from the guys at 3drap.it, it's the Logitech G2x shifter mod V3. For those who can't afford a new shifter, though the shh shifter is not too expensive, this solution is really nice, it really changes the G27 shifter to a hole new thing. I just hope it lasts longer than previous mods. You get an H pattern gate as well so you have to make the shifts more precise.

This is what my 3DRap mod looks like after just one race. It quickly broke and started to jam up.
    I'll keep the gate though.

They need to use better material, the idea is good but poor executed...
I will write to them asking for a replacement with better material and print...

490 people so far think it is, and strangely only one person for the wheel only.

A bit of stuff on RaceDepartment on it: http://www.racedepartment.com/threa...l-vr-kickstarter-is-here-but-act-fast.149520/

It’s a complete unknown so anyone’s guess if it’s good and reliable at this stage. If all they say is true then it will be good
