1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    The Challenge.

    Car: Alfa Romeo Guilia Quadrifoglio
    Track: Mugello

    @Tibor Sólyom won the #1 challenge of the #100, so his prize was to decide the combo for this challenge. And he decided for a rather interesting one! The most powerfull Alfa Romeo road car that was gifted to us by Kunos, so we could experience the sheer trill of a sedan that behaves like a sports car. I bet that at least one of the owners of the Quadrifoglio is that cool dad that makes every road trip to the countryside a race against time and the trucks on the highway :p

    An italian track for an italian car - sounds fitting! I haven't tried this combo but Mugello is always a fun track, and testing this car on a multiple different turns like the ones this circuit offers seems to be a nice challenge for the week.



    The Rules.
    Mode: Hotlap
    Time of day: Free
    Ambient Temp: 26 Degrees
    Setup: Free
    Controller: Free
    Assists: Factory
    Stability: Free


    Please make sure you have the ambient temperature set correctly, and that you are in hotlap mode, I really don't like disallowing times!

    The Deadline.
    Monday November 5th 2018 - 21:00 GMT.

    How to take part!
    To enter simply head into the game select Drive > Hotlap and choose the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio and head to Mugello. Make sure you setup the session using the settings detailed in this thread and hit the track!

    You can run as many laps as you like and update your times as often as you like, its simple :) All Platforms are welcome, it is all about having fun and enjoying Assetto Corsa.

    To submit a time, pause the game and select 'session' from the menu and screenshot this page or take a photo of your screen and post it in this thread - Note all the information from the screen is required including temperature, mode heading and of course the car being used!

    Feel free to post video clips and share information in here as well, but without the session screen your time will not be included (placing the session screen in a video clip is acceptable).

    You also need to state the time and your platform in the body of your post, this should be the first thing you do, the image should then be placed below the text. It would also be helpful to mark updated times with Improvement. This makes collating the results much easier.Also,to avoid mistakes on laptimes,please enter them with the format x.xx.xxx. This format makes it easier to work with Excell.
    A leader board will be collated from time to time, this will keep everyone up to date on where they currently stand...Unfortunately editing of posts gets locked on this forum so this post will not be updated.

    Feel free to use the unofficial leaderboard but remember you still need to include the session screen in this thread to be included in the results.

    Excellent combo this week! The Giulia is one of my favorite cars in AC! This thing is such a beast, I would love to own one of these IRL.

    @Chaos_Chris you don't Need a setup to go fast but it certainly helps ;)

    I used Mathieu Labbe's tune for zandvoort downloaded from the setup market app, and modified the psi and fuel levels. Make sure you switch to the HR tires as they are quite a bit quicker than the ST tires. Also, turn the TC off! Being smooth is key.

    This car is such a hooligan its so much fun to drift, its hard to focus on hotlapping :)

    Congrats on the win Tibor! I’m rather enjoying your choice for this week’s challenge. It’s dog slow but handles nicely. Trying to keep momentum is a real challenge.

    Amen to that. I saw my eldest daughter walking along with all her mates whilst I was on my bike. I went past on the back wheel stood up like a lunatic. Whilst I felt like the King of the world I was also acutely aware that I was not only uncool but also the most embarrassing parent to have ever lived. :)

    Nice combo this one. I did 2m07.8 last night. I saved the screen on the ps4 but didn't photograph it so I'll have to do that and post it when I get home.

    No track time tonight. I have to take the little one (who is only 9 and still thinks I'm moderately cool) trick or treating.

    Well done F1415182235 and Pretend racer, great times. I think my quadrifoglio must be broken! The best I've managed so far are a few 2:07.4s

    I'm finding this challenge infuriating. I'm 6 tenths down on Pretend racer's sector 1 time. Most of that must be at T1. I feel like I'm getting on the throttle early enough (about the mid point) and getting to 100% shortly after that. If I try to carry more speed through the turn-in part of the corner, the tyres slip, speed scrubs and the ghost car flies past. No idea how to make up the time.
