1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Benchmark results, food for thought

That's very good performance! What were the reflection settings? I'll make a comparison with the same settings to my i5 7600k/Radeon Vega 64.

@LeDude83 Reflections were switched off. I did another benchmark now and noted the settings because I had changed them since I posted that result.

If you could post your results that would be awesome, I just upgraded yesterday from a R9 290x, which had certainly done it's job for the past five or so years. I was looking at the Vega but I wanted to try out Nvidia because the last four or so video cards have all been AMD. And a big factor was warranty because this card came with three years for $600.

    Reflections were switched off.
Mirror was on high with the tick box enabled
Effects: Smoke normal (show in mirror ticked)

The rest of the settings are below.

That last result looks close to mine. I have some more pixels - 2560*1080.
Thanks for posting those "all cranked" results. I'll provide the comparisons tomorrow.
Your GPU should be about as fast as mine...tiny bit slower maybe.

I'm really happy with the upgrade. Overall everything runs at double or more FPS with better graphics setting and I can now run AC in VR with some decent graphics. I ran a test earlier but I didn't note down the settings but with nearly everything turned up in VR my system scored around 18,000.

  9. Loving my pc upgrade: (2x DSR; Custom Shader Patch activated; smart mirror, smart shadow, all that stuff activated)

    So here's my results, finally:

    Your reduced settings:

All maxed out is much like yours (I have some 20 % more pixels) but with the reduced settings, your system is way ahead...strange.

I just upgraded to Ryzen 2700X + GTX1080, but for some reason I can no longer run benchmark from CM now (crash). I can still launch races using CM though. AC launcher is also stuck at loading car meta data. Maybe I have way too much crap installed?

Finally upgraded my system, details on my signature.
What impresses me more was that I was not getting near these numbers until I updated Windows 10 to the 1809 build.
I got also quiet a very good performance improvement on ACC by just the OS update too.
