1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

XB1 New to Sim Racing, looking for wheel settings (XB1) (G920).

Hey all. Just got my G920 wheel. I honestly have no idea what to do with the wheel to start. I raced a bit, laguna with a miata which is my favourite track and car. It felt ok. I honestly have a hard time adjusting settings because i have no idea where to start.

Can anyone give me a good starting point for the settings? It feels like it might steer a bit quick, but tbh it isnt that bad at all right out of the gate. I did go off a bunch at first, but I got it together after a few. I think I did a 2:09 in a stock NA miata, which honestly isn't good at all but it was clean and felt a bit like learning a track irl.

I do race, and had the privilege of racing at laguna, where I ran a 2:00 in a modified 12b rx7. We were racing endurance and didn't have a particularly quick car in a big field. There was an na miata there, CA car that ran a 1:49 the first day but broke.

I have been reading everything I can on the g920/g29 wheel since I bought it, have had the wheel for 2 days and the shifter tomorrow, and will be building a unique pvc rig hopefully. I think I came across some nice base settings but I didn't save the page and can't find it.

I really like the game, it feels right. Thanks to all who can help me out.

Hi, I'm on PC but I think more or less the same should apply on console. Set degrees of rotation to the max that your wheel will allow, 900 in your case I think. Damping will make the wheel heavy at low speed, adjust to taste. If you guys can adjust FFB strength per car then I would say set gain to 100 and adjust strength accordingly, if you cannot then adjust gain for FFB strength preference. Maybe someone on PC with the same wheel can tell you roughly correct min force for G920. I leave curb, road, slip effects off but it's up to you really, they just multiply or add effects I think.

Thanks Andy, I will look into all that. I've been fooling around a bit with the settings but it felt pretty good out of the box so I didn't want to mess with it too much.
