We’ve not used this car in WHC and it is a good drive. In addition Toyota is launching a new version next year, developed by Gazoo Racing and a joint venture with BMW.

The Mark IV was produced between 1993 and 2002, the one we have in AC is the Japanese version of the twin turbocharged 2JZ-GTE 3.0L inline-6, making 276hp (206 kW; 280 PS) and 318 lb⋅ft (431 N⋅m). It did 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds and the quarter-mile in 13.1 seconds at 109 mph. Shockingly the cars in Japan are restricted to just 180 km/h (112 mph).


For tuners the 2JZ engine was practically indestructible. Toyota built the engine to reliably produce 600 horsepower, thus easing any homologation for motorsports applications. As we loved in Gran Turismo, the Mark IV could be easily tuned to produce 700hp. Some Supras, modified specifically for drag racing, have been known to produce 1,000 horsepower.

The 2019 Supra will be using BMW’s 3-litre straight-six turbo (B58). BMW has confirmed that its new Z4, with the same engine, will produce 335bhp and 369lbft and 4.5 secs to 62mph. Production cars will be ready from May next year, time will tell if the remake is better…

Recommended tyre pressures for the semislicks are 33psi all round, temp range is min 75 max 95
If you want to try the alternatives, both Street90s and Street are 39psi all round with a temp range of min 75 max 85

How to take part:
To enter, select Drive > Hotlap, choose the Toyota Supra Mark IV and the Magione circuit. Please setup the session using the settings below:

Mode: Hotlap
Time of day: Free
Ambient Temp: 26 Degrees
Setup: Free
Controller: Free
Assists: Factory
Stability: Free

To qualify you must be in Hotlap mode and have the ambient temp set to 26 DegC.

Deadline: Sunday 16th December 2018 - 21:00 GMT.

You can run as many laps as you like and update your times as often as you like, its simple All Platforms are welcome, it is all about having fun and enjoying Assetto Corsa.

To submit a time, pause the game and select 'session' from the menu and screenshot this page or take a photo of your screen and post it in this thread - Note all the information from the screen is required including temperature, mode heading and of course the car being used!

I really hate this track. It's so easy to lose time. I did my PB last night. Today, I couldn't get close to it. Those damn hairpins at the start get me every time, can't seem to replicate what I was doing yesterday. Most laps I was 0.200+ down after T1, a similar amount after T2. If I was less than 0.5 down at the end of the long straight, I was doing well. Then there is the right-left-right-left series at the end of the lap. A tricky track to get right.

the old 19" on the left is for flight gear, he shows the map in the browser
(some years ago i was pretty happy to buy this 19" flat screen thing, he was so much better than the old 17".... times are changing )

street cars are awesome! I love this track for hotlapping but I must admit its not the best track to race on, unless your a fan of the nascar driving style "rubbing is racing".

If anyone wants the setup I'm using just let me know.

I'm sorry I missed last week - I actually did complete a time but it wasn't until I went to post the picture that I realized I had the wrong track temp settings and so my time wouldn't have been valid. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to go for an official lap.

Anyways, I am a big fan of the whc and thanks again to everyone who puts in some effort to make this happen.
