1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I had great fun in practice and hotstint sessions, even managed to bring my CC up to 94 with the Ferrari on Hungaroring. I'm slow but I really like this combo. There is some random stuttering and the LOD switching needs some tweaking as well but the performance was good enough that I couldn't blame my spins on bad FPS this time :D

    I usually race the 2x30minute sprint sessions and reduce the fuel load enough to go half distance plus a lap. Unfortunately the Ferrari, unlike the other cars, doesn't seem to top up the fuel during the pit stop.

    Here's my feedback (note that I was only able to briefly try the previous release, so there might be some of the following already in that):
    - lock to horizon: great job, I was able to race without it in VR, but it's more enjoyable now!!!
    - Paul Ricard : not sure it came with this update, but the terrible shimmering is now supportable in VR, I was literally crying when I first tried it
    - track rubbering in: really like how the curbs are now rubbering in (more pronounced)
    - Hungaroring: nicely done, I also like the track layout (this is the first time I tried it in a sim, shame on me)
    - Ferrari 488 : nice job, it's my favorite car now, well balanced, great handling
    - clouds: did something change, they seem better than last time?

    I didn't have time to spend with the multi-player yet, maybe on the weekend.

    My only concern right now is that with my 1070 I'm not able to run larger fields at night in VR. Hopefully there are some more optimizations on the way.
    And yeah, mouse support would be nice for VR, but I can live without it for now.

    All in all things are coming together nicely, keep up the good work Kunos!

    Same thing with the M6 during a Sprint Weekend. Tires changed and all of the the sound effects and pit crew action, but no fuel added. Pretty sure I have seen this mentioned on multiple occasions. Hopefully once pit strategy is implemented this will not be a factor.

    I would concur, drove Misano with new build and exactly same setup on BMW that I had saved when using build 3 and the difference in tyre grip (locking up and turn in grip)was very different making lap times significantly slower ( lap time previous 135.4 last night 136.7) and car a lot harder to drive

    Guys, I've realised (hungaroring, Ferrari) that the grip when tyres are a bit overheated drops dramatically, in what I think it is quite an unrealistic way, have you felt the same?

    Maybe it's not a grip issue, but a bug of the tyre temp graphic, showing a bit yellow when maybe it should be almost red...

    I have noticed that Ferrari , Hungaroring light rain race with default wet preset, rear tyres go red within 2 laps, can keep on driving on them with no decline in performance. When I get the chance will try the same with the other cars,

    #29 of 407 ... should be 93 ... is 75 ... that would be correct for 116 participants

    It's curious that in AC, when kunos launched the ferrari gt3, it also had bugged tyre temp, it overheated terribly after 1 lap under certain conditions, hahahah.

    By the way, I'm curious about gearbox compressor sound removal. Is it because it uses a different system or that you cannot hear it in real life?

    Sprint races do not permit refuelling by rules. You're supposed to put the fuel needed for the full race.
    Pitstop is obligatory to change the drivers (and you can change tyres too).

    In endurance races you can refill fuel during pitstops but maximum driver stint is again 60minutes (to be exact 65, as there is a 10min. pit window that opens 5min. before and closes 5min. after, so technically a driver can d 65min stint)

    Later on, you'll be able to create your pitstop strategy from the setup pages.

    Would it be possible, if you find the time, to add these series specific rules within the UI? It is not necessary to add the whole rule book, just the important information.
