1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Welcome to the thread for the Weekly Hotlap Challenge #110 – Admuira the Highland view!

    The Challenge:
    Hotlap

    In fact last week’s WHC was a very frantic combi, so this week we’re going a bit more gentle and flowing. We’ve only used the Highland Circuit once, WHC#55 with the Lotus 3 Eleven. It’s so good I popped up to get a real photo for you.

    Considering how gorgeous this car this car is, it was a surprise to find we have never used it in WHC. According to Wiki-p, the Muira was designed in 1965 against the wishes of Ferrucio by engineers in their spare time and conceived as a road car that could also win on track. Bertone styled the car, which has a mid-mounted, four litre V12 with 5 speed manual transmission. NB, peak power is at 7850rpm which seems to be about 2/3rds of the way round the rev indicator on the PS4 and not the red line. It accelerated well through the gears and the top speed of over 170mph (276kph) must have been shocking in the late 1960s. Then, you could pick one up for $13k , (equivalent to around $100k now.) If you can find one of the 150 examples of the P400 SV, the car we have in the game and persuade its owner to sell it, expect to spend at least $3million.     This is a fabulous car to look over the bonnet of, it sounds as good as it looks, it goes as well as it sounds and it feels great to drive, especially on a road where you are able to stretch its long legs. Just have a look and listen to your replays.

    The Lambo’s Pirrelli Cinturatos were the first examples of radial tyres on a road car and Juan Manuel Fangio himself called them “extraordinary.” I wonder what he would have thought of the FXXK then…
    Recommended tyre pressures are:
    Fronts 46psi Rears 49psi and ideal Temp Range min 75 max 85

    To enter, select Drive > Hotlap, choose the Lamborghini Muira and the Highlands circuit. Please setup the session using the settings below:
    Mode: Hotlap Highlands
    Time of day: Free
    Ambient Temp: 26 Degrees
    Setup: Free
    Controller: Free
    Assists: Factory
    Stability: Free

    To qualify for WHC you must have the ambient temp set to 26 DegC.

    Deadline: Sunday 13th January 2019 - 21:00 GMT.

    You can run as many laps as you like and update your times as often as you like, it’s simple All Platforms are welcome, it is all about having fun and enjoying Assetto Corsa.
    To submit a time, pause the game and select 'session' from the menu and screenshot this page or take a photo of your screen and post it in this thread - Note all the information from the screen is required including temperature, mode heading and of course the car being used!
    Please post video clips and share information in here as well, but without the session screen your time will not be included (placing the session screen in a video clip is acceptable).

    Another one of my favorite cars to drive in AC, though not so much on this course (I despise Highlands). Lost count of how many times I drifted wide or understeered right into a guard rail. Either that, or a rear tire would catch grass and lead to something horrific. Used to be quite the challenge to nail downshifts without doing harm to the transmission, but nowadays the problem has shifted over to figuring out the trail braking capabilities and corner entry as to not slide, run wide, or upset the car's balance too suddenly.

    And is there any reason why the name of the car is misspelled everywhere throughout the post other than the challenge description @Totall Wrytoff ?

    Put in a sighter lap at 2:50.xxx and then broke it a couple of times (gearbox, wall, wall, wall, gearbox) before getting in a proper clean lap.. There is easily another 0.5 in there without too much extra danger, but this one you can gain lots if you take some (big!) risks so I wouldn't be surprised to see 45's soon.

    I Got in the high 45’s earlier, paused the game while I fed my little girl then restarted the lap forgetting to take a screenshot...DOH!!!
    Reproducing that time seems near impossible now so I think its time give up today and try again tomorrow.

    great combo! Love the vintage cars.

    I had no trouble getting into the 45's and if I kept at it, I might be able to get into the 44's but no way I could get into the 43's. Well done V8!
