1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    The Challenge:
    Hotlap

    First time out in WHC for Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus and we’re back to a track day.

    Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus (SCG), is a motor racing team and low volume car manufacturer from New York. It is owned and run by Jim Glickenhaus and he sounds like and by all accounts is, a very, very excellent bloke. He has written and directed a whole load of our sort of films and he loves cars. He has a wet dream of a collection in his garage (see his Wiki page,) including the oldest Ferrari in existence, a 1947 Ferrari 159 S Spyder Corsa. Oh, and he wants to win Le Mans, which is why founded Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus.

    The SCG003C is the racing version of a road legal car, the SCG003S. That seems a bit of a shame,as the road car has a 4.5l twin turbo V8 made by BMW that gives out 750bhp and it is 50kg lighter.
    For racing, sadly, the FIA decides the SCG003 has to be less powerful and weigh more, so we get an “FIA approved” 3.5l twin turbo V6 with only around 530bhp.
    Like one of the livery options, pulling out of the pit lane will make you laugh. It sounds exactly like the cliché “shaking a wooden box filled with nuts and bolts”, but it goes well out on the circuit and has done well in endurance racing competition

    Infamous Imola. Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, last featured in WHC #73. It’s one of those tracks where the first corner, or chicane in this case is critical. I’ve done many laps around here, watching the ghost car two or three lengths ahead for the rest of the lap! Winning this will require a good set-up, accuracy and skill on the brakes.
    RSR best time to beat is 1:43.227

    How to take part - Hot lap:
    To enter, select Drive > Hotlap, choose the Scuderia Glickenhaus SCG 003C and the Imola circuit. Please setup the session using the settings below:
    Mode: Hotlap Imola
    Time of day: Free
    Ambient Temp: 26 Degrees
    Setup: Free
    Controller: Free
    Assists: Factory
    Stability: Free

    To qualify for WHC you must have the ambient temp set to 26 DegC.

    Deadline: Sunday 13th January 2019 - 21:00 GMT.

    You can run as many laps as you like and update your times as often as you like, it’s simple All Platforms are welcome, it is all about having fun and enjoying Assetto Corsa.
    To submit a time, pause the game and select 'session' from the menu and screenshot this page or take a photo of your screen and post it in this thread - Note all the information from the screen is required including temperature, mode heading and of course the car being used!
    Please post video clips and share information in here as well, but without the session screen your time will not be included (placing the session screen in a video clip is acceptable).

    63 Highlands drift we used the P4/5 - it was the first Glickenhaus we used in WHL....:)

    imola is a nightmare for me - in the special events there are several cars i can not do silver....really a pain. :confused:
    hopefully i can learn from this whl! :)

    Same for me mate. I’m fighting it more than driving it.
    Just done 3 laps but 1.48.is all I can achieve at the moment.
    A 1.43 seems impossible
    So a lot of practice needed for me.
    Never used this car but I really like it already.
    I think it’s just gonna take some getting used to

    @the3ws your far too good at this now mate.

    The last 2 corners is where i was struggling.
    At the start of the lap, no problem but when I get to them near the end of the lap I panic, overdrive and lose so much time.

    Darn. Already getting left behind. Way to go guys! haha

    I suppose this isn't too bad with the stock setup. Supposed to be in the 46s, but I always mess things up somewhere between that tight chicane and the last turn.

    Also, big up to @Laughing Gravy joining in on the Nordschleife fun and making that 312T dance! Someday us PS4 users will all have a proper race together!
