1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Unannounced Roadmap Update?

Discussion in 'ACC General Discussions' started by BTL.357, Jan 17, 2019.

On the webpage the roadmap lists the Honda Acura NSX GT3 as the released car for EA release 6.
However, looking at the roadmap in the game, right after the intro, instead of going directly to the menu, it shows the Nissan GT-R GT3 for that release.
    Roadmap Release 5.jpg

Is that a mistake? Will we really get the (old?) Nissan?

Personally, I'm looking forward to drive the Nissan instead of the Honda.

We should be getting both GT-R's anyway once the full game releases, so don't worry.

Interesting, i would also prefer the Nissan over the Honda.

I certainly wouldn't. The NSX is a highly interesting car for me because of its famous predecessor. GT-Rs of various types and periods have been in many racing games recently so...kind of old to me whereas the NSX is pretty fresh.

I don't mind that they decided to change car for their 6th release, but the lack of communication just confuses the hell out of me and I will be very disappointed if the NSX doesn't make it into the final game.

We had to swap the cars due to production reasons. It doesn't affect the final game. Ultimately it'll benefit the users because we were waiting for data.

    Thanks for the clarification. :)
Why wasn't this mentioned in the announcement regarding EA release 5? And will this be the 2015 or 2018 version of the Nissan?

Also, good work on the game so far ... hopefully the MP rewrite will turn out to be excellent. ;)

Do you think Gold version still Q1 2019?

They almost have to do again all multiplayer.

No, I don't think they are still planning a Q1 release with all the announced features. I really hope Kunos Simulazioni have enough money to extend the EA phase and are not forced to publish an unfinished V1.0.

Hopefully we'll get a roadmap update and detailed dev blog soon. Until then every new version will be a set of surprise features.

For those that were not in EA of AC, or just don't remember it well, just follow the announcements for AC that you can find here https://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php?forums/news-and-announcements.14/
This way can have an idea of how was the development of AC during EA, RC and after v1.0.

There you can see each version changelog and will find that AC had AI modifications, multiplayer fixes, UI improvements, graphic improvements, as close as nearly one month before Release Candidate version (which followed EA phase).
And only with RC (feature complete) did AC include things like visual damage and tyre damage, aero damage and suspensions damage for all cars, graphic performance optimizations (to help frame rate), career, driver animation improvements or even Oculus DK2 support, between many other fixes and improvements.

Went I sent you that, Honda hadn't announced that they were doing IGTC, however they announced just that earlier today, meaning Honda NSX GT3 Evo is now on that list for the 2019 DLC.
