1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    - Added rear-view camera display in Lamborghini Huracán GT3. :cool::D:cool::D

    I wish we could have something that size for the virtual mirror. Some servers force it and its massive & sometimes covers half the real center mirror. In my lucid dreams I see a virtual mirror movable & resizable :p:cool:

    Thx Kunos for the "advanced options" for the graphics !

    I will, thx ;)

    It's not Kunos. They are UE4 commands. There are many commands you can add however I only advise you to do so If you really know what your doing.

  4. I must have added that section wrong because nothing changed with the shadow draw in distance.

    @Michael Hornbuckle - My suggestion was more for @DzelRacing regarding his treeLODs & distance view not your shadow issue.

    You guys are also talking about Anisotropic filters. I force it via UE4 command.

    eg. engine.ini

    [SystemSettings]
    RHI.MaximumFrameLatency=1
    r.MaxAnisotropy=16

    @Michael Hornbuckle - Try adding this r.Shadow.DistanceScale=X

    It can be values like 0.6, 0.75 ect..

    "Scalability option to trade shadow distance versus performance for directional lights (clamped within a reasonable range).
    <1: shorter distance
    1: normal (default)
    >1: larger distance"

    Funny thing is I hardly ever use the middle mirror in iRacing nor the virtual mirror relying instead on the wing mirrors and general track awareness.

    But in ACC I think it is near essential at the moment.

    Depends on screen size, aspect ratio & FOV. Many people cant even see the side mirrors. Mainly the RHS.

    Even with triple the RHS mirror is not visible without ‘look right’. In VR I think it’s visible. But yes depends on which car, and the size and position of the mirrors. I generally don’t like the virtual mirror but I understand at times it’s just a necessity. The new radar works well!

    It was for the "avdanced option" with the last build. Especially "LOD trees" added by Kunos.
    The second post/answer is yours

    I didn't find the ".ini" file ? It disappeared since the last build ?

    When it is getting dark, could we have it being graphically displayed in a way that it is not doing brightness jumps but something more seamless? :)

    ahhh in "WindowsNoEditor", my bad. Thx my friend !

    If we set "LOD trees" on "EPIC", it is similar at this command (foliage.LODDistanceScale=4) ?
    Kunos team, what what is the equivalent ? Could you explain some stuffs for a better understanding.. :)

    For the first build, we had a few options... Over the months, Kunos has given us more control (settings options).
    So it's possible that we change something with command (that) we could have influenced in the game himself (since the last build) ?

    Currently testing with gamepad, though, so chances of ending as a spot on the wall are pretty high...

    I’m experiencing micro stutter since the hot fix, happens every couple of seconds. Is anyone else getting any stutter now, everything ran smooth before?
