Hmm, you would assume they'd be doing something, they can't have put all that effort into the new car for it to have so little presence. That said, 2019 Blancpain grid is filling up quickly, if we don't get an announcement by next week's tests I think we will be in trouble. Spanish team Racing Engineering (currently LMP2, formerly GP2) is one to keep an eye on.

 

I met Alvaro Parente yesterday He was driving a Bentley Continental at the inaugural Blancpain GT World America race in Austin (and did very well!)

 

That's cool. Never met him myself, but he seems like a nice guy.
Yes, in the states he's still driving the K-Pax Bentley, I guess this deal came before the McLaren offer.

Why cant i use the Nissan in sprint race weekend?

 

Because the cars were only entered in the Endurance cup in the 2018 season, hence there are only Endurance cup liveries and currently you can only choose Sprint cup teams/liveries for Sprint races and Endurance cup teams/liveries for Endurance cup liveries (and choosing the latter also uses the Endurance spec of the cars, with additional lights). I presume that might change at a later date for custom sessions, especially if they add custom liveries.

 

Really, wow I didn't realize they were going to that length of realism.. I thought I would be able to use any car in any session I hope they change that as time goes on.

only one car in World challenge?
i hope we'll have at least 22-23 regular entries there. those ony 17-18 cars that were present around 2014-2015 in the sprint cup was not ideal...

 

They have put a cap on the sprint series at 26 full season entries with two race by race one off entries. Also, you have to remember that FFF Racing are coming too with a few Lamborghinis and factory support, so it's a fight between them and Grasser.

 

the cap is one thing, was there a cap in last year too? if yes, how many was it?
i didn't read about FFF... only about the Emil Frey Lambos

 

Well Emil Frey have just dropped out. But yeah, at least two squads of Lamborghinis are doing sprint I believe

Emil Frey are focusing on GT Open instead this year for some reason, even though they won Paul Ricard last year and placed pretty highly in the overall standings.
