1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

  1. What settings are you using in game?
And what kind of i5 CPU do you have? Looking at the rest of your specs my fear is that you are at minimum requirement, or even under

Those AI are a sneaky bunch. Just when you think you've completed the pass (I'm in the Nissan - Skill 100/Agg 50)

Excuse the off screen recording, easiest way for me to capture from the replay when in VR.

Edit: Overall I must say the AI are very enjoyable to race. After this little incident I did another quick race, 20 mins, 28 AI starting 27 and finished 17th. Other than a few AI drivers having difficulty at T1/2, common in all the races I've done at Monza thus far, they are very proficient. Probably 1-2 seconds to slow for the really quick drivers, I'm at 1:58:6xx on the current hotlap leaderboard.

  6. Your CPU is slightly faster than the minimum requirements and the rest of the specs don't really help.
Double check the game video settings, basic and advanced, and try to lower some, mirrors and shadows first.

this sounds like a problem coming from the latest Win10 Update. it has been reported that many gamers have massive problems with it. Microsoft suggests to uninstall it.
i have no problems whatsoever, runs silky smooth everything.

Actually, on Tuesday they released a patch (KB4489899) to fix those issues.

    Dear #ACCompetizione followers,
a small hotfix is available. Please restart your Steam client to download it!

    --------------
    v0.6.5 Changelog

    - Disabled the option for randomWeather in the Multiplayer server.

I hope the random weather option will soon be exchanged with the dynamic weather option :)

Minolin said in a thread where a user discovered you could activate this function on a server, it could lead to problems with our clients as they do not have this thing implemented fully.

It's the same. And yes, @Timberwind is correct - we already run this setting on the "forum community" server, and it's hell of a fun (95% of the time).
For the remaining 5% I'd like to wait until the ACC client completely implements what is needed (and then I want to see that basically every server runs with dynamic weather on)

Forgive these questions or points below. I haven't really followed the ACC development that closely, so much of what I have compled here may well be moot points.

I have been pretty impressed lately with ACC after finding the FFB pretty poor when I first tried it. Performance has also improved a lot of late too, so thats great to see. Its also good to see that in multiplayer you can seemingly choose whatever car you want rather than being pigeon holed into having a certain car like in AC multiplayer, so the freedom there is great to see.

Is there further work to do on the setup screen? Things like brake ducts have no explanation of how they work. They are currently set to 0, but what does zero mean, is that fully open or fully closed? Also the dampers screen (for me) needs a better explaination plus naming of the axis either slower or faster. I mean I presume lowering the number makes the damper slower and raising makes it quicker, but this needs to be stated I think with labels.

    When jumping between sessions, is there going to be a session info screen? So when you move from qualifying to the race, will you get a weather report or a summary of track conditions? At the moment you can't see anything when the session changes because the menu screens block the view out to the track to a large extent. Also currently the countdown timer either doesn't appear or does appear but its partially obscured behind a menu, I mean I presume this will change and its WIP. Also in the MP itself, I think there should be a list of the upcoming sessions so that you can plan for what is to come. So when in the menu if to one side it said;

    Practice (10min) - current session
    Qualifying (15min)
    Race (30min)

If you dont have the above information you won't know, A) whether to continue to be in the server or not, and B) not know how to plan for the race and what kind of setup to apply etc.

Is there going to be a MP chat lobby?

Is there going to be the option to save replays? If so, will there be an option to auto save them?

    Thanks for reading.

I had tested 0.6.0 and then skipped the ripple-fired sequence of quick hotfixes, now have tried 0.6.5, especially for the AI. I must say I am pleased by the advances there. Some people who said that during the various 0.6.x versions the AI turned out to have become much better, seem to be right. I just had 3 races and had some hilariously fun moments and plenty of close quarter combat with 2, 3 and 4 AIs nearby, including door-to-door bumping, gentle bumper -to-bumper kisses, and quick sequences of attack - counter attack - re-attack with quick successive position changes in esses and turns. I'm pleased. I still think Raceroom's AI edges out that of ACC - but ACC is in hot pursuit - and is very close to it's AI indeed. To me the number 1 and 2 AIs in the genre currently.

I forgot to explicitly test their behaviour when intentionally coming to a crawl on track. But there were incidents on tracks with cars spinning out - and traffic behind them rolling on and chasing by the accident site.

I admit this turn for the better is a bit unexpected for me - but it is a pleasant surprise for sure!

    ---

I would like to see an option with pratcicing with AI cars on tracks and chosen time of day. The workaround with choosing the practice session of a weekend is a limitaiton in that it doe snot allow to chose time of day feeely. The Practive menu option simply demands, calls, yearns for a slider selecting 0-27 AI cars. That would be the simpliest and most obvious solution.

I noticed that fireworks from starting the race, start racing skywards for the whole duration of the race. Noticed it in Zolder, 10:00 o'clock race.

After race ended, AI cars continue to drive around the track, fine, okay. Player can complete an exit lap and then end the race by stopping the car on the pitstop marker, yes, its very immersive, good way to let it all end - but the AI drives on at full race speeds ihen, does not slow down for the exit laps. It also does not end the exit lap by going into pits at the end of that lap, but stays on track.

All cars' position camera values seem to have been reset...?! Got surprised by that when entering the quick race.
