Good point. I'm only basing my speculation on the layout of the circuit printed on the session sheets, but that may be a standard key rather than specific to the event.

 

Last year they've used the chicane in the Sports Club race and it seems to be the same again this year.

 

I must admit a slice of wishful thinking. I do find the Mistral a bit of a dull drag. I think the chicane improves the layout.

Oman racing and Team Parker confirmed for 2019

 

So that makes 3 full time teams running the Aston in 2019? Oman, R-Motorsports and Garage 59? Awesome, lets hope for a few Spa specials too!

 

So far 6 Aston's confirmed for Spa, with R-Motorsport running three, Garage 59 running two and Oman running one.

Also, Bentley will have at least 5 cars, with M-Sport having four cars and Team Parker with one so far. Seems like a decent year for British cars, bar the fact there's no McLaren

Assuming that the 2019 version is the Evo, wonder why it's on the list with all the 2018 cars.

Maybe because that is one of the first new cars they started working on? Aren't Kunos tight with Lambros? They had the factory drivers playing even on the original AC, plus the fact that Huracan was the first car they have released with ACC also says something about their relations. So they might not release the Evo kit just yet, and perhaps they are packing up the files for the future builds. On the other hand we are in 2019 season already, so no reason not to begin releasing new cars.
The Evo kit for Huracan is not as complicated of a modification as a whole new car like Aston or 720S or 991.2, so it makes sense that is where the work was diverted to after the more simple Evo kits for Ferrari and BMW were released. Plus the equally complicated GTR rework was already done, so for me it is logical that now is the time for Huracan Evo, and then, it's the new cars. Just speculating.
Anyway, very happy that there are so many Lambos in now. Not the most important thing in the world, but would be cool if someone entered the Evo version of ST car in Spa race, so they would model it too. Which makes me wonder, why haven't someone entered the ST Evo in any races outside of their own series? Restrictions on the fin?

 

I get your point about the fact they've probably just started working on the new cars and agree on the, however I don't think they're releasing them straight away, as they did say that they were releasing the 2019 cars as free DLC, along with Zandvoort, in the summer, so not just yet.

Also, for the super Trofeo and Carrera Cup car, I don't think we'll be seeing them this year at the Spa 24h, as they were part of a local class or something like that and I'm pretty sure they removed them for this year after only two of the cars showed up last year. Guess it made more sense to save the room for more GT3 vehicles

 

Last year only the "non-evo" version of the SuperTrofeo was allowed at Spa, for this year the whole national class is cancelled.

 

Niiiice - even more 'Spirit of GTR2' for me, with the oddball Spa entries that will no doubt become favourites. Great to see the Reiter Gallardo too.
