1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Servers running now, but the odyssey of "zombie" disconnections continues. Cars frozen on track in impossible positions with engines still on , no disconnection message, just despair (I was running right now on the Kunos Zolder server).

    I was running in Monza and as I got out of there server right now, Ican't connect to the server list, ratings.... anymore. Looks like servers are down. Anyone else with the same issue?

    EDIT: no, in the end the server list appeared. Of course, I joined the Kunos 01 official Zolder race weekend server and I got disconnected after a few seconds..

    yes, the 0.6.5 server has the issue that it'll run out of race numbers. I almost had applied the fix to 0.6.4, but just ran out of time to properly test it.
    So those servers need a restart

    @Minolin , here is my impression on the "frozen" disconnections (where there is no "connection lost" message, just cars frozen on the track): when I drive on servers closer to me, with pings <200, I never have any disconnection, regular or "frozen". My problem: living in China, the populated servers I see most times have pings ranging from 250 to 400, so I don't really have much choice. Racing on those servers I actually have a pretty amazing performance, because I don't see as much warping as I used to see in AC. Of course the "frozen" disconnection is always behind the corner, so it can get quite frustrating at times. In AC I was not used to so many disconnections, even on servers with ping around 400. There was warping, sure, but no disconnection. Not sure if anything can be done to improve that or if the only solution is to have servers in Asia/Oceania.

    Just to recap: from China, servers in EU have pings of 300+, servers in US pings of 250+. 300+ means great risk of disconnection at the moment. I am sure you can have many potential customers here in Asia/Oceania as we are talking about billions of people (just China + India + Indonesia is 3+ billion people..) and the interest in simracing is growing and there are already quite a few very good communities, so maybe it is worth looking for a solution.
