1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Great car, Great track, Great combo!

    I'm using Schnipp's tune for vallelunga, modified the psi and fuel levels. I would probably adjust second gear to be longer for my next stint.

    Still lots of work and less sliding into corners.
    I didn’t know you could drive over the 2 big curbs just before you get back to the town, always thought it would invalidate the lap.

    Yeah 900 is right. What I do is once the game loads the track and car before you press drive unplug the wheel and plug it back in, turn your wheel full lock both ways, and press the pedals fully down, it then re calibrates for the game.

    You don't know what you did Lewisxbone. I had calibration all wrong since I got it. Feel so good now. That why as well I said before I had ffb at 60%. It was way over stiff. Now I have it to 100 and feels brilliant so as the rotation. Not sure it will make me faster though.. Thanks a bunch

    That lap definitely gets WOW! :D
    Thanks for the set-up and great vid Pretend racer, looking at the improvements above, it seems to be worth a couple of secs.
    For me, great to see how you take the downhill, double apex left-hander before the run up to the Tower Lub, where clearly I've been losing about 3 secs!

    1.5ish secs, thanks again to Pretend racer:D, although I immediately experimented with slightly longer gears. Less fluster in the cockpit and I was able to get my top speed up from 108mph to 116mph coming in to town at the end of the lap. The engine is torquey enough/ car is light enough to accelerate well from lower revs. I'll try the shorter ratios after the footie.

    Here are the ratios I used for this lap (figs are MPH), if anyone wants to try:

    The game doesn't give a penalty for the cut and since it has been paved it looks like it was meant to be cut like that. As far as i can tell there should be no reason why you can't cut like that.
