1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    If You happen to check Darin Gangi's Inside Sim Racing YouTube channel, and specifically this:

    they show an iRacing top driver winning a race using a Microsoft Sidewinder wheel (and one not entirely in one piece, by the look of it), not to mention while eating his lunch :D

    So, "fast" depends on being comfortable and tuned with Your own controller, I guess.
    Immersion might be something entirely different, but the equation immersion = fast does not automatically holds true.

    To my understanding the G27 is an update of the G25 (sure it is!), but not in another league, thus You have to keep this in mind if Your aim is to "step-up" ;)

    LOL, I felt like the seller with prices at € 2000.00 beside the one touting € 1999.99, that is the guy remembered as selling at 2k beside the one selling at 1k and some :rolleyes:

    I'll admit openly that I left in-car ABS on :oops: , which helped a lot in keeping a tighter consistency and giving my neurons some ease to mind line and balancing :p

    PS: sorry Paul, I really did not expect that I could get lower that 58! ;)

    I set the boost control to a button on my wheel using a "cycling command". I only turned scramble-boost on when the car was straight and settled. It was worth about three tenths.
    My score is currently 0:56.68.
    It'd be really swell if there was a way to do asynchronous competitions like this without adding some random dude on Steam.

    Yeah that was my idea for starting this, to improve myself. Unfortunately at the moment I get almost no time to game! :(

    Em, I am not sure, LOADS of people have added me, so much so, we can't see everyone's time, which is a big disappointment for me. I hope they fix that.

    Nothing to upload lol. My best without cutting the track was somewhere in 56.900-ish. Would have been better, but I happened to lockup heavily and slide trough a corner which helped me sure, but I went off the track aswell. That was 55:100...I took every corner perfectly apart from that one. I was unable to repeat that...

    As I said previously I just wanted to see how much of the track can be cut...Just take a wide first corner over the cones as you are exiting the first corner break yourself under 50 and cut right over the grass, hit the time marker and then cut left. then just complete the track. I bet it is possible to beat that for real once we can adjust the gears. Flawed penalty system as long as you don't get it flashed at you your fine. Needs to be fixed. :D But hey it's alpha.
