1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    OK, so first lap, I totally failed... (to crash)

    Softs are toast after 1 lap, think mediums might be better as you should be able to push all the way.





    DAMN just noticed clicked on the wrong car!
    Hold that thought....

    Don’t know how but when I saved my setup earlier to have a break the turbo was at 50% doh!!!
    Anyways that’s enough for today, I started on a 8:54 so for a track I don’t know to well I’m quite happy with myself.

    Hehe yeah, but this is even better ;)

    First lap I did take off over Flugplatz, so had 1 restart, but apart from that was my first full lap in this car here. Lap time done on Mediums

    Just had 1 more attempt, outbraked myself into the right hander before the first karussell and binned it in the barrier so gave up, but was a good second up at the time of the incident and had been nearly 2 seconds up before the end of the GP circuit, so there is plenty more time in there.

    to make it short:

    1 hard crash (wehrseifen) :oops:
    3 very soft bumps in barrier (after yokohama and two times after ford) o_O
    11(!) times too early too much power, killing the pin and so on, but without damage. :eek:
    ...still so much to learn..... :(

    Back in the car but still with the controller. That's no excuse though. I had my best WHL back on #45 on the Nordschleife and that was with the ds4.

    I learned my way around the track on Ride 2; that is I know where it goes and I know what corner is coming up. I wouldn't say I know the track though. That's a different thing entirely.

    This lap includes a huge moment clipping a kerb around Hohe Acht. I almost came to a full halt sliding sideways, but kept it on the tarmac. Otherwise it would have been sub 8....:D

    One of the best possible combinations in AC, can't wait the weekend!
    I love the combination of the 2 entirely different tracks, it's like an excursion to the mountains :D
    It would be even better with the old Castrol S, I'm really surprised nobody has done that version. But there will be a decent Südschleife available very soon!

    Im not usually a fan of race cars, but this one is pretty amazing. I had Lots of restarts of course mostly because curbs are death, which is hard for me to remember because I generally try to smash a lot of the curbs as that works for me in road cars... I had to take a break because I was getting too sweaty. My heart was pumping haha Great Combo!

    I modified Steve Smiths' tune for Bridgehampton.
