1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Hi guys
I ask an advice to those who already use ACC in 4k mode ... what specifications must the computer have? I have to buy a new pc .. after 10 years my actual pc is obsolete even if it allows me to play safely in 1080p at full detail

Also depends on what performance you want. 4k is just one part of it. If I turn Screen resolution down to 70%, my 1060 6GB handles 4k quite fine with medium high settings and close to 60 fps.

If you want ultra settings and 144 fps, things will look different, I don´t know if any available single card will suffice to achieve this.

I output to 4k. I cannot really tell you what you'd need but offer some comments.

    - @LeDude83 has some interesting threads about various benchmarks done by several users. You might find some interesting hints in those threads

    - i have i7-8700k and 1080ti with no overclocks.
    - i use Nvidia adaptive sync and most ACC graphics on the higher/epic side. Not all. But most.
But if I turn the sync off:
    - in general, maximum number of ai, daylight, and no weather I think it achieves 70-80fps.
    - going into night I don't think the fps drops below 60. I did a few day/night cycles recently and didn't have an issue but also didn't really test it specifically.
    - if I have full rain and night then it goes below 60 and i would have to adjust the ACC graphics somewhere if I want to keep 60+

So even with 8700k and 1080ti there are situations where 4k 60fps requires some adjustment. Either the ACC settings, or with overclocking, or something.

Depends on settings you want. On maxed settings (or even high settings), rig in my signature isn't nearly enough for 60 fps. Not even enough for triple screen, which is 25% less pixels.

You might run X settings fine in dry daytime, but rainspray and night conditions (or replays) will kill it

So basically, get 2080 Ti, faster processor the better... and hope for the best.

Thank you all for the answers
let's say I would like to spend the right without spending crazy sums. ten years ago I had a good setup and I'm still enjoying it now. I was thinking of an i7 9700k with an RTX 2080 graphics card ... can it be enough to run ACC in 4K with a good framarate and a good level of graphic detail? I don't use the triple monitor..I have a 49 "tv LG

2080 is better than 1080 ti (slightly) but I'd still go for 2080 ti if your budget allows it.

Although, ACC 1.0 hasn't been released yet, there might be further optimizations. They are updating it to newer UE4 version, which might bring some improvements too (?). So maybe you want to wait and see

2080 ti is out of my budget :)

Yep its ridiculous what they ask for these GPU's. I remember not so long ago when a $500 GPU was mind blowing... Now 2k for a GPU, which ideally I want 2 of them to power a 49" 32:9 120hz 5120 x 1440p monitor. That will quickly put me into divorce territory. Nvidia have a monopoly and strangle hold on high end GPU's...

I really enjoy the game with a 980GTX on an old 24' 16/10 screen, and Oculus Rift.
Actually, I even think it's enough.
