1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    yep I'm investigating, looks like "overrideDriverInfo": 0, doesn't do it's job
    you can help yourself filling that manually for the moment; add

    "firstName": "your",
    "lastName": "name",

    before your playerID

    (I'm running on the 1.0.2 open beta, let me know if things are different in the normal release, or if I need to wait for 1.0.3)

    So the "maxClientsOverride" value doesn't appear to be working; it doesn't matter if it's passworded or not.

    1. Setting maxClients in configuration.json to 35 (trying for extra space for spectators alongside a full grid) and setting "maxClientsOverride" to any value (above or below 30) ends up with this result:

    "Overriding maxClients 35 (configuration.json) to 30 (settings.json)"

    2. Leaving maxClients in configuration.json to 30 and dropping "maxClientsOverride" 20 ends up with no information about changing the maxClient size; checking the server on ACC shows 30 slots available.

    Edit: Also just a bug for LAN servers, all of my servers show incorrect information when looking at the LAN server list; searching for them in the online list brings up accurate information.

    In the LAN list they all show as 24 slot 8H Endurance type servers, nothing that matches what I actually have set (E_6h, 30 slot)

    I got a fatal error when doing the driver swap. I pitted in after requesting the stop, then when it happened it crashed for me and my friend.

    Hi can also confirm that we experienced the same on our server when we tried to join in teams.

    In addition, with entrylist file active on server I experience an issue with the car not starting, or it starts, but shuts down again. To exit pit I have to press the starter button while driving out of pits, can then speed up, but as soon as I stop engine will stop. Can also see driver arm constantly moving down to middle console in car to try and press some button, looks like he's trying to turn off ignition. When I'm experiencing this, my button mapped to ignition is not working either.
    I am not experiencing this on our other server without entrylist.

    I'd like to request additional information in the result json files.
    • Servername
    • Starttime
    • Endtime
    When you are adding incident output please add the lapnumber where the inciddent happened.

    This would really help processing the output for RaceApp league management.
    Thank you!

    Session types are P, Q, R, but in the index you have the values as 0, 4, 10.

    In general, can you avoid using numbers as values in the cfg files, and rather use an alpha code? A whole bunch of random numbers is going to make managing files pretty hard. E.g. Driver categories could be P, G, S, B. Cars could be names like porsche_991, mercedes_amg etc.

    Agreed. Having to constantly look at the handbook to remember every number is a quite annoying over time. Having names like suggested above would be much better

    where cfg and log folders reside

    Just tested results file recreation ok.

    question - how is "lastLap": 84195 deciphered in to human readable form?

    entry list not working, I choose a car but the entry list doesn't force me into the specified car.
    is it because my short name was wrong?

    Not sure about this, its a pretty big part of the series. There is no race in the Blancpain series without a pit stop actually as the shortest round have it forced and the enduros because fuel wont last long enough.

    Should be possible in pub server races IMHO, only needs clear session info in lobby and once in the server and on track.

    I think 1 hr CP races being run as Blancpain sprint rounds would make sense and being able to run open league type rounds to anyone that meets server requirements and ping limits would be a good option. Not only forcing all this to private closed servers.
