1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Where's the problem?
It's the typical big summer sale by Steam, this time the main theme is motor/racing.
So for ACC this can be a great spot, and hopefully many players can enjoy it.

2 month or 2 years doesn't matter, the Steam sales are always a great reason for the players to buy games at ridiculous price, and for the software house to sell many copies.

I wonder too. It's purely their own decision whether or not they want to have a discount after such a short time.

To be precise, ACC so far more or less always was on sale... early adopters could purchase it for 25, 35, and 45 €, so... i don't see much of a issue with having a sale so early. Steam has a massive sale now, and, it probably would be stupid if Kunos passed on it.

Assassins Creed Creed odyssey was up for sale pretty rapid too. Think that title has sold a few copies has it not?

I bought AC originally in a Steam Sale, knew nothing about it but gave it a go and I went on to buy plenty of DLC and ACC.

Who do you think decides when a Kunos title goes on sale, besides Kunos ?

This is good news for us as we might get an influx of simracers, hopefully.

  9. The dlc is on sale for ac, at half price also. I bought the few packs I didn't have, seemed a good deal to me.

Seems u don't look more or less regulary into steam, eh? It's by far not first title with earlier discount, serious!

I wouldn’t be so sure that the Steam summer sale is 100% to do with Kunos. Sales like these are generally at least part covered by the sale platform, Steam in this case.

Like eBay sales where you get 10% off everything on eBay. The seller actually gets the full amount, the buyer pays 90% and eBay the other 10%. When it’s 20% off then the seller takes a 10% cut as well

Pure speculation but that’s how it works on other platforms.

What the hell devs? How dare you sell your game cheaper? This is an absolute outrage! If anything you should make it even more expensive!

Actually I am very happy ACC is currently discounted as that made me buy another ACC license. Now my son and I can race on a server together (which was not possible with family sharing setup).
    Big THANK YOU Kunos!!!

Just checked what the big fire sale discount is, all of 15%... lol. Though I do recommend everyone go out and buy millions of copies... haha

roughly 40€ is absolutely fine for what the game offers in its current state. so i don't see any problem here. happy if more people jump into it :)

think about people paying full price on day one...and just after a single month...discount.
This thing means only the developers didn't get the money they needed on day one and during the first month of sales, so now they are trying to get money in any way, also discounting a game which is out by a single month.I do not know if legally is possible to sell a product discounted after a single month.
At least hope they get the money to finish the game but i think is not politically correct

Its like only 6€ cheaper, seriously, people who would feel ****ed over by the fact that they payed 6€ more a month earlier have a serious issue. It's not like the price was cut in half and besides, there were even before the sale possibilities to get a steam key from some keyshop for under 35€.

  20. Sorry, what's the problem here?

What?! If you want a game at launch you pay full price. What the hell is not "politically correct" about a game being sold cheaper after launch?

Some people in here are hard to understand.
