1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Chequered flag for WHC 135.

    Final times to be confirmed but unofficially…

    Pretend racer takes the flag in 1st place, Mustang500 crosses the line in 2nd place, less than a coat of paint in front of a revived 3rd placed Lewisxbone.

    What a great week for attendance, testament to the original genius of @Graveltrap and we are delighted to welcome a new player, Rod100. Sadly, despite the excitement generated, there was no sign of Moody’s Dad though…

    This week lap times are all quite close, save for “the one exception,” the gap between top and bottom is less than 4 secs.
    There’s been some good improvement too this week, except for “the one exception.” He’s been away for too long and it shows! Great to have the Master of Shakedown back on the forum though. We’ll do the Cup series soon Mike!
    Also of note this week, in chronological order;
    • On Monday afternoon Lewisxbone threw in the towel with a 1.29.2, but it was sandbagging and psychology, his efforts yielded a 1.5 secs improvement to finish with an excellent 1.27.7. By Monday evening F1415182235 had gone fastest with a fantastic 1.27.865. But his lead was short lived.
    • On Tuesday morning, just two hours later, Mustang500 shows that there’s at least a thousandth or two to be had and goes faster with a 1.28.833. Later on, Sissydriver came back and Biner was overcome with mechanical sympathy at a 1.29.4.
    • On Wednesday the bar was raised again. Pretend racer, “the Instructor,” went nearly half a second faster than anyone and then showed us how with the set-up and a great vid. Once again, he is a tutor and an inspiration for all of us.
    • On Thursday Emmanuel Tubbiolo blatantly and shamelessly showed off by improving to a 1.28.988. Us normal earthlings are a bit embarrassed about that time. Well done!
    • Obviously Friday is “F for finishing off” day - the drinks cabinet has to be emptied ready for the weekend delivery – Pangyorhee, having been quiet earlier in the week, was seeing double. Also, Chaos_Chris decided to upgrade the combi to a Valkerie around Silverstone and hurt himself in the process.
    • On Saturday Laughing Gravy won his personal battle, again. LeiF meanwhile, venting his nose and his feelings, showed us all how a cold can take a full second off your lap time and lemans86400 confessed his love for slow cars. Next week won’t be for him then!
    • And today has been a flurry of activity; exasperation from LXM323, genius from Lewis, twenty-two laps by DriverModFTW, a four place jump from our favourite reduction, Laughing Gravy and Tibor Solyom shocks us all by going 5th, a full four places away from his usual position. That’s a wow!
    On to next week – six point harnesses clipped, visors down, I’m really excited about how it will go!

    Awesome recap, @Totall Wrytoff . You've a real talent there and the energy, enthusiasm and effort is truly exceptional and much appreciated by all. I've not read the next post yet so I don't know what guided missile we will pilot but I look forward to learning some new skills. Cheers.
