1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Hi folks im going to run a spa endurance race and i want it to be a good fight. I can run in the 2.18s at spa in the Mercedes amg and i want the ai to be close to that time in race but not with them clobbering you thru slow corners. Im running the ai on 90 skill and 88 aggressiveness and in a 30 min race from last place 23rd can get 2nd . Any suggestions?

    100/100 is best imo.
    Lower than that and the AI starts behaving weirdly, like being super slow in some corners or braking mid corner sometimes.

    Everybody has to beat their chest, don’t they? “I play at 100/100 but I’d get more of a challenge if I could do 500/500”.

    I find that the best thing to do is to “rehearse” the AI in dedicated, separate practice sessions before you do the race. Like you, I want a challenge but I don’t want to be bunted off the track needlessly. And it helps to look at the times for the track on the r/l Blancpain web site. I don’t see the point in racing AI that goes as fast as the guys who do this for a living, so setting AI to 100% so that they drive every lap of Nurburgring at 1:56.xx is just silly. I see myself as a “gentleman” racer so adjusting the AI to where they do r/l race pace minus about 5% suits me fine. And at an 80% aggression level I find that the AI generally conform to my own gentlemanly values but they will punish mistakes and get by me cleanly but without hesitation.

    Well, in fairness he said he can lap Spa at 2:18s so for him the best settings for that specific track are 100/100. I'm slightly slower and those are the settings I use.
    He was previously using 90/88 and go from 23rd to 2nd in 30 minutes, which is totally unrealistic.

    only 100/100. i was before down on 90/80 but i won every race so i had to put it up. and 100/100 is fine. i can fight in the top positions and its not just a overtake massacre to get up to first place. you have to be consistent to get up there. but it also depends on the track, on some tracks the ai is even on 100/100 ****in slow. on zolder i win easily and they are sometimes so slow in corners there, i dont know why.
